problem with commits in SQLAlchemyDA

Hi all, I wanted to use SQALchemyDA with a standalone Zope 2.11 (we only depends on CMFCore). i tried to get it up using easy_install, which is pretty straightforward, once removed the incompatible zope.component package needed in the dependencies. It ends up with the following installed packages (skipping zope 3 components) : zope.sqlalchemy-0.4-py2.4.egg z3c.sqlalchemy-1.3.10.1-py2.4.egg SQLAlchemy-0.5.5-py2.4.egg Products.SQLAlchemyDA-0.4.1-py2.4.egg At first glance, this works well, but the DA actually can't manage to commit any sql requests (I try only for insert in Mysql and postgres but I'm sure it's always true). This is quite an unexpectable behavior for a DA. I think the problem is related to this thread I found on tg-trunk newsgroup : http://www.mail-archive.com/turbogears-trunk@googlegroups.com/msg07302.html There is a misleading comment in the docstring of zope.sqlalchemy.datamanager.join_transaction speaking of a DirtyAfterFlush SessionExtension, which I never seen except in plone code. [Formulator] Anyone fixed it for Zope 2.10/2.11?

We have a project where we are using Formulator under CMF 1.X + Zope 2.8. Unfortunately Formulator seems to horribly broken Zope 2.11. Accessing object properties from __init__.py

lost zope password - resolved

Hi all Just an update. Zope wasn't getting restarted by "../bin/instance restart" .....but about an hour ago I tried manually killing all the zope processes and then starting zope......and all is good now :) Thanks to those who emailed. -- Jel

Hi I am new around here. If I am not in the right place then please feel free to point me elsewhere. I have a site running Plone. The admin/manager password for zope is lost. How to create emergency Zope access user in your Zope instance, created with buildout, instructions) But I can't login with the login created for the emergency user I can see the 'access' file that is created, and I put it where the instructions indicate. * Plone 3.1.6 * CMF 2.1.1 * Zope (Zope 2.10.6-final, python 2.4.5, linux2) * Python 2.4.5 (#2, Jul 31 2008, 18:51:48) [GCC 4.2.3 (Ubuntu 4.2.3-2ubuntu7)] * PIL 1.1.6 Running on ubuntu server. Error when trying pack database

Hi all, I'm trying to pack the main database ( MySQL with Relstorage ) when I hit "Pack" button is showed the error 500 below ------------- Site Error An error was encountered while publishing this resource. Error Type: IntegrityError Error Value: (1062, "Duplicate entry '251983055306698820-6697-172041' for key 1") ------------- Is there some way to fix it? do anyone know that? Thanks in advance. maintaining session variables using zeocluster

Hellol, We are using a zeocluster with six clients and use pound for load balancing betwwen them. However I am having problems using session variables. I think that session variables are maintained separately for each client i.e a value set to sesssion variable when pound sends a request to one client cannot be retreived when a request is sent to some other client. Either configure pound so that sessions from one browser always goes to the same client, or mount your temporary storage in the ZEO master. I made a patch for the filestorage recipe to do this. http return code of standard_error_message
