Are ZEXP files safe?

I seem to recall hearing in the past that unpickling in general was insecure for some reason. I'd like to allow less-priveleged users to upload their ZEXP files on their own and import them into their own Folders. Are there any security issues with ZEXP import? Thanks, -jordan. jbb(a)scryent.com

Can some one show me two example with using PIL module in ZOPE 1. creating an image from inputed data an safe into zope for example: given x,y,r as a center coordinate and radius and draw a circle and save it as circle.jpg 2. read an exisiting image, edit it, and save it for example: read circle.jpg and add a letter A in the center of the circle and save it as circleA.jpg ____________________________________________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? zope.testbrowser, how to?

Hi friends, I want use zope.testbrowser for testing my sites, but before write it as DocTest I want execute each statemnt interactively in python shell. I don't know any way to see where it's works, what value it returns, what error I can get and how this error should looks is python... It's why I want check it in python shell. What the problem? I can remove that one line, and export to CSV works fine. Obtaining a username / password list is actually pretty important in our use case (patron users routinely forget both their username and password and don't like (hate) having their password reset). I have posted this several times, but have not until now been able to get DeadlockDebugger installed. I see several people have had this problem, but no-one has posted a solution. zope 2.9.5 + zeo pythonm2.4.3 Red Hat RHEL 4 Plone 2.5.1 Our zeo clients hang intermittently. We have no way of reproducing the problem, but it occurs daily. The client hangs and a restart seems to fix the problem. In the event log with tracing on we get Trace zeo.zrpc.Connection(C) wait(16697) {server:8100} pending, async=0 There are hundreds to thousands of these until the server is restarted. In the zeo log we get Error caught in asyncor asyncore.py error:(110,'Connection timed out') We have been trying to track this down and have had no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions? How to get REST friendly urls from sql database

Hi. Normally a url to an article in our CMS system would look roughly like this: http://www.dom.tld/aritcles/25245 Where 25245 would be an object of some metatype, say 'article'. Now what if I wanted to get the data for that page from an sql server instead, I would expect to end up with a url like this: http://www.dom.tld/aritcles/index_html?id=25245 Now, having recently read the Roy Fielding paper, and expecting to do some caching, I would much prefer to have it the first way, even when I have to get the data out of a DB. Anybody have any ideas on how this might be done? Regards Gaute Amundsen
