Web mail with POP3

I need to build a web mail product with pop3 back-end. There is WorldPilot, but AFAIK it has no pop3 support. I'm thinking about taking web inteface/application design from WorldPilot and writing code to talk to pop3 server (probably based on POPMail product). problem creating properties via python methods

Hi! In the following code stored in a DTML Method I create DTMLDocument called hello and then I want to add it some properties. The error is that those properties get created in the parent folder object and not in my "hello" DTMLDocument although I try to reference the self parameter to "hello" using the with tag. I would appreciate any hints to solve it. Hi, In regard of the problem i stated last time(two persons can't access the page simultaneously with different login id's ). Is it possible to avoid Zope error which occurs & instead give our message ?. If you know anybody who are using Gadfly database kindly put me in contact with them. Thanks, jacintha.

why does the first work and not the second ? staticProperties is a dtmlDocument and container_metatype is a property of it. 1) <dtml-if "meta_type == staticProperties.container_metatype"> this is a container <dtml-elif "meta_type == 'Folder'"> this is a folder <dtml-else> this is not a container </dtml-if> 2) <dtml-if "meta_type == _.getitem('staticProperties.container_metatype')"> this is a container <dtml-elif "meta_type == 'Folder'"> this is a folder <dtml-else> this is not a container </dtml-if> the same will happen with : <dtml-var "staticProperties.container_metatype"> <br> <dtml-var "_.getitem('staticProperties.container_metatype',1)"> regards Matt

Inserting LONGs with DCOracle

Hi, If I try to insert an ca.5000 char string with DCOracle(1.3.2) into a LONG column in Oracle (8i) I keep getting ORA-1704 'string literal too long'-Errors. Ok, I read here http://osi.oracle.com/~tkyte/Misc/LargeStrings.html that it will work (a) with bind variables or (b) that I have to use ODBC,OCI or alike. Questions: (a) Can I use bind variables with DCOracle? How? (b) I thought DCOracle is using OCI, so why the heck this isn't working? Any workarounds? thanks for help, dekay
