Updating problem

I installed the latest and greatest products, updating some existing ones. Some of the products have .zexp components. For Zwiki I moved the file under imports, and then attempted to import it I get the error shown below. I can not find an object named zwiki (as opposed to ZWiki) in my products folder, nor at the top level. A lower level folder has an item called zwiki; I do not believe it is eligible for acquisition, because it's in a separate branch. I ran into a similar problem with ZDiscussion, but in that case I was able to delete the product and then do the import. Hi everyone, I'm trying to implement a search feature on my site. Basically, I've created a form for searching with two radio buttons, one for searching the Internet and the other for searching my site with ZCatalog. Do I need to use any DTML trickery here or can I easily get the form to direct the action to different places based on which radio button is selected? I really hope this isn't some really obvious HTML question, but I hunted around and I can't find a good example or any easy answers. Suggestion for improving http://www.zope.org/

I am trying to pick up Zope, and very impressed with it as a tool. I have one complaint with the Zope site, however..... Now that there are starting to be dozens of Zope products, the flat representation at http://www.zope.org/Products doesn't work so well. Older (but still useful) products aren't listed (e.g. TinyTable) -- the current oldest is mid-September. Additionally, all you have to go by is the name of the product, which sometimes isn't descriptive (Webstar). Obviously, if you know what you're looking for, you can just search the text of the update posting. Some of us, however, don't know what we're looking for :->. It would be nice to be able to view by: submission date and some sort of functional keyword(s) (DAs, logging, ad and page tracking, import/export, user handling, etc.). It would also be nice if on the listing pages, there were a capsule description, so people could quickly eliminate products that don't apply to their situation. It would also be incredible (I'm working on doing this for an internal documentation site) to allow people (maybe members-only) to subscribe to a product. Subscribers get e-mail notification when a product gets updated. They might also be able to subscribe to how-tos, tips and documentation updates for that specific product. What we do now is have a local development Zope server, which we beat up on and make all sorts of changes to. When these are stable, we then scp the Data.fs file over to the production server. To be fair, the main reason that we do this is that the development server is on a local ethernet, while the production ones are on the other side of the pacific ocean - the network lag really really bites. There's also (I'm convinced) a problem somewhere in the Oracle DA's error handling that can lead to crashes - since the development server is where we get the SQL errors, this is a good thing to have off the production system. Note that someone posted on the Zope site the necessary magic to use the Sybase DA with FreeTDS. I believe that FreeTDS supports MS SQL 7. However, most don't - I've patched both dcOracle and dcSybase to throw the exception with a third arg, the sql command. I'm pretty sure patches are in the Collector. Validating data entry (dates)

Hi, Is there an elegant way to validate fields in a form before submitting. For example: I have a date field. I want to check, before submitting the form, if the date entered is valid. Is there someting like a function as: Date.IsValid (I haven a Delphi background). What I don't want is a Zope generated standard error screen. I am getting a vanilla sql.error message from Zope when testing a ZSQL method The ZSQL method is a single insert statement without any dtml-try/except wrapper. How do I get Zope to be a little more verbose about waht the problem is ? Nitin
