Py-Toc and zope products

Greetings. I have been messing around with the py-TOC code, and am looking forward to implementing it into my zope/MySQL site. I think I am missing something about how to connect it to my zope folder class My goal with this is to tie in the AIM messages in with the folder class I am using in zope to affect database queries. However, I've only been able to successfully get it running using the "bot" and "bm" classes as global variables (not self.bot and self.bm) so they are now outside the class where I need them... This was my best attempt at getting them inside the zope folder class, but zope does not like it... importing encode_base64

hi, i am having problems importing encode_base64 i have created a product in which i have specified: ''' from AccessControl import allow_module, allow_class, allow_type from AccessControl import ModuleSecurityInfo, ClassSecurityInfo from email.Encoders import encode_base64 allow_class(encode_base64) '' however when i try using it: from Products.EmailTools import MIMEText,MIMEBase,MIMEMultipart,Header,encode_base64 i get an error saying: Error Type: ImportError Error Value: cannot import name encode_base64 All other modules are imported except this one... how do i import it? regards, varun --------------------------------- Discover Yahoo! Hi, I need a Calendar or WebDav product wich runs with Zope, allow me to share my calendar with others users using mozilla Calendar, Sunbird. evolution, outlook and so on...Something like OpenGroupware. Do someone have a good suggestion? :) Thanks and regards. Fernando Lujan

how to authenticate myself and how to not

Hi, If I want to edit a page, I have to be authenticated and zope ask me to with a login dialog. How can I call this dialog from dtml or python? (i want to switch from user to another user). And how can I logoff? Pre-indexing filter and accented letters

I would like to index a text property of an object in the ZCatalog. The text is in French language, but I have a problem: I have to find results for the related non accented letters! I mean, If I do a search for "actualite", the index should return also the object which text contains "actualitè". I cannot convert the index to textindexNG, now it is TextIndex (at least, I can covert it to ZCTextIndex). An idea could be, for example, to convert the text before it get indexed... Where should I look in the code? Can it be possible? Any other suggestion? :) TIA!

XMLRPC problems?

Zope 2.7.6, ZEO, Python 2.4.1 (yes, I know it is not yet official but ... ZEO runs on the same machine but is accessed through an internal network ZMYSQLDA 2.0.9 MySQL-1.1.7 I've seen a couple of problems attributable to XLRPC failures in our system after an upgrade to Zope 2.7.6. Has anyone else experienced problems? I know there were issues at one point, but I believed that they have been resolved. I checked and found no active bugs.

ZODB Lock Errors and Storage Errors

Zope 2.7.6b3, ZEO, Python 2.4.1 (yes, I know it is not yet official but ... ZEO runs on the same machine but is accessed through an internal network ZMYSQLDA 2.0.9 MySQL-1.1.7 I have seen several Lock problems and a couple of storage error problems as I upgrade our system. Anyone seen anything like this? Andy-- I'm guessing this is MySQL related. I did not upgrade from my MySQLdb from 1.1.7.
