-- Hello, i need a tip: I want to export existing Web-Documents in Zope (normal html Syntax) i know about two python modules a) load_site.py i used this one in the form python load_site.py -u superuser:**** -p /somwhere/Zpublisher /myhtmldir id worked obviosly something (python -v ...) but in Zpoe i did not see anything b) fsimpor i think i have to use it as externel method but i did not know how to provide the function call with an argument i tried to create a dtml-var fsimport in index.html after importing the external method fsaimport from Extensions but then i got stuck can anyone give me tips for both ? please do a cc to extern2.michael.arndt(a)audi.de since i have not subscribed to the list thanks Micha ======================================================== Michael Arndt science + computing gmbh c/o CAE-Systemservice Abt. ZClasse default in the product

Greetings again, I created a Product with 16 ZClasses, however these 16 classrooms are listed in the box of selection "Available Objects" : -), where it would need that only the main classroom was listed. Visualization of inherited attributes

Greetings, I created an abstract ZClasse call "person" and a "service_prestator" ZClasse that it inherits the classroom "person". It would like to only visualize in a border (view) the attributes of the two classrooms, for this, I created a method calling the attributes these classrooms and it I associated one " view ". The problem is that I do not obtain to codify this call of the attributes (propertysheets/atribute1/manage and propertysheets/atribute2/manage). Some suggestion? Trying to Install ZMySQLDA

Hi agin, I am agin trying to install the ZMySQLDA. I upragded my Zope to the 2.0.1 from the rpm on the RedHat 6.1 distro and I am runing python-1.5.2. Now according to the instructions from the ZmySQLDA I am suppose to un tar this from the top directory of the Zope. If I go to /usr/lib/python1.5/site-packages/ and unpack everything it ends up with a /usr/lib/python1.5/site-packages/lib/python/Products/ZMySQLDA/{all the tared files} + {a src directory to build the mysqlmodule}. However, this is obviously not right. The only "Products" I found was under the "ZopeWorld" directory. However, manually place the contents of the tarball's "Product" directory in this directory did not help iether. No matter which way I go I get this error when I do make in the ZMySQLDA/src directory. This is the output. need zcatalog help !

Help ! i have a problem with zcatalog-reports : i use a GET-form to define which items form the zcatalog to display in my intranet-phonelist. Problem is, the form appends all variables in the form,even the ones without any value. used on fieldindexes, this seems to be a grave problem, as Zcatalog obviously intreprets a variable without any value as 'show all instances that have a value of nothing for this variabe' instead of 'show all intances' the url : http://my.machinecom/phonelist/index_html?meta_type=employee gives me what i want, while : http://my.machinecom/phonelist/index_html?meta_type=employee&team= returns nothing. is there anyway i can make Zcatalog know i want all instances if team="" ?? i was thinking of adding something in the line of this in the start of the phonelist (report) -document : <dtml-unless team> <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('team',' something like "Catalog.uniqueValuesFor('team')" although this wont work ')"> </dtml-unless> any ideas what i'm doing wrong ? ------------------------------------------------ Geir B Hansen geirh(a)funcom.com Web-designer / Graphic artist Funcom Oslo http://www.funcom.com ------------------------------------------------

version deleted but there is still a version lock

I have a Zope folder which contained a version a long time ago. The version was deleted, but in the management-screens I always get a version lock. I cannot add documents, and I cant change a few of the existing docs. How can I make my existing objects notify that theres no version anymore and therefore no locking necessary? Unluckily this happened with a projectsite we have on the net. There are a lot of people waiting to see new content which I cannot add.... yours, andy ap(a)net22.net

I have a bizarre error/bug/feature here... I have a folder whose contents behave very strangely. Any file named index_html reverted back to the standard for newly made DTML Documents after a few minutes, but luckily I was able to delete it. However, while I wasn't watching the external methods that also were (and still are) in that folder mutated into folders themselves - and now they are impossible to delete, I get a keyerror. If I try to enter them, or do anything else I get 'resource not found'. I can't delete the parent-folder either. So: how do I get rid of them? t.
