Database Corruption - Please HELP

Hi all After a hard day of work in Zope yesterday, I arrive today and receive the error message about database corruption. I know that we can truncate the Data.bbb in the address of the record corrupted, great. And I did it in that way: perl -e 'truncate "Data.bbb",4672086' And whe I try to open the Data.bbb again, all is gone ! Only the default Data.bbb was restored, all my data is gone. The users, everything. Well, ok, I think the msql one might still be a tad weird, but hey, unless someone's done something drastic, there's parts of that code that are 4 or 5 years old. Until the mxODBC license changes, that's also possibly an issue for people, too... Anthony.

Sequences and SQL

Ok, now that I can get data into a database, I'm working on getting it out again. A simple table works fine, but I'd like to add alternate-line shading. This is what I'm trying:   ... shaded line code ...  ... unshaded line code ...  I can submit this to Zope no problem, but when I go to view the page, I get the standard error message with this in the source:  The error is generated by the line with the IF statement, as I've verified by changing to to test a different expression. I expect that I'm bumping into something syntactical, but can't figure out how to fix it! Help from you more experienced Zopers is appreciated. Thanks, Sean McMains

Just applied your patch, and it broke. I have Python 1.5.2 installed., Zope2.0.0a3, the latest ZMySQLDA from the zope site. I had just posted a thread about ZMySQLDA being a little on the slow side, so I am anxiouys to try your patches as they come available. erik myllymaki erikm(a)islandnet.com

zope & mailman

Additionally,the file will store the password in SHA-1 format, which eventually will propagate into the rest of the system (more on this later when it's been smoothed out). This does mean that most likely WebDAV won't work with the superuser account, but then you shouldn't be using the superuser account, right? :-) BTW, changing the name is simply obscurity, and well, that won't fly.
