Zope site missing

I was working on a Plone site a week or two ago, but after restarting Zope it is no longer there. Is there any way to tell what has happened? Is there any way I can report on the contents of Data.fs? It hasn't been touched since I last updated it. -- John

A question about changing the LDAP server address of an LDAPUserFolder: The address of our LDAP server has changed from ldap.mydomain.com to ldap3.mydomain.com. To accommodate the changes I tried the following: Adding ldap3.mydomain.com LDAP Server under the configure tab and then deleting the previous ldap.mydomain.com nearly works except users with locally stored roles no longer can access the site. Is it possible to change the LDAP server setting and retain the users with locally stored roles? Or do I need to make a record of the users with locally stored roles and add them again? Why am I getting "AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'setHeader'"?

Running 2.7.4rc1, I'm getting the following errors in relation to a product I'm building, and can't seem to figure out why. It appears to me that the dtml method is not getting a RESPONSE object, but I've no idea what could cause that. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, as I'm very new to zope and really can't seem to figure this out. Thanks! Synopsis: Due to an error in the cAccessControl module of Zope it is possible to bring down a complete Zope site as documented in http://mail.zope.org/pipermail/zope-dev/2004-December/024087.html This exploit causes a segmentation fault of the Python interpreter. Vulnerable for this exploit are at least all Zope installations that allow untrusted users to edit ZPTs (possibly DTML as well) either through the ZMI or through the file system. Affected versions: Zope 2.7.X, Zope 2.8.X Recommended solution: Turn off cAccessControl and enable the Python AccessControl implementation in etc/zope.conf (this line is commented in the default configuration): security-policy-implemenation python A fixed implementation of cAccessControl will be included in the upcoming Zope 2.7.4 beta 2 release. ---- Andreas Jung Zope 2 Release Manager

I guess I'm still unsure about what the phrase "based on" and "derived from" means in the context of writing content and building a site based on plone and zope. My stuff wouldn't be able to work directly without plone and zope, but on the other hand, it's not an extension of plone and is not derived from it either. I'll have to keep poking around. If this fails zope won't come up. That feature is useful if Zope shouldn't run without an paticular storage.
