Is it possible to use object Items on ZClass instances? Another Annoying question...Name Space related I think...

HELP!!! I have created a default ZClass called FWAEvent I added a few properties (title, date, description) on a property sheet with the id of EventInfo. I modified the default FWAEvent_addForm that was created for me to also get the values for the above properties. The problem is that I cannot figure out how to assign those properties in the right place. All of my assignments seem to go to the properties in the container of where I create and FWAEvent instance. Otto - it works fine with 2.0, I'm using it right now. I wonder why it hasn't been listed on zope.org yet - it's a very useful product. Regards -Simon

Zope.org caching

Hello Zopistas, I'm writing to let folks know that at the urging of Garth Kidd among others, I've added some new HTTP caching to Zope.org. Now all images should return nicer 'Last-Modified' HTTP headers. In addition, all pages have their 'Expires' HTTP header set for around 15 minutes in the future when viewed by anonymous users. Please let us know (via webmaster(a)zope.org) if this causes you problems. We'd also like to know if you have additional HTTP caching suggestions, tips, or friendly anecdotes. ZCatalog problems

Hello, I can't seem to convince ZCatalog to index my entire database. It is only cataloging items in the root folder. How do I convince it to go through each child folder? I've gone through the HOW-TO tutorial, but I'm still stuck. thanks, Luke

Converting from ZServer to Roxen

I thought I would try out the Zope/Roxen combo mentioned elsewhere. Installed fine, foillowed Mangus' instructions, Zope works fine. Almost. I wanted to run one of my current sites with the combo for a straight accross comparison. Unfortunately, things don't want to cooperate. First, I tried to copy over my Zope directory, and run python w_pcgi.py. It fails. Next, I tried to make a fresh compile, and copy over the Data.fs and Products I had installed. No Dice. I reference a stylesheet with a Link tag: <link href="Styles/primary" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"> But Roxen/Zope return a file not found error for "/Zope/Styles/primary" What am I missing/doing wrong here? -- "They laughed at Columbus, they laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright brothers. UserDB Folder.

Hello all, I've dug up the UserDB folder in the old Zope.org site. However, before I try it, I'd like to find out if it's compatable with Zope 2. I can't find any information one way or the other, but I can only assume it's not, since it doesn't exist on the new Zope.org site, yet. Anyone know for sure? -Otto.
