Search and Replace

Hi, I'm considering a search and replace operation in the Data.bbb using a external S&R tool. Are there any particular problems I could run in to? Unfortunately the .bbb files have null-characters in them, and Text Editor can't do S&R in binary mode. Other wise I could have some what more control over the operation. btw. A Search and Replace function would be a nice addition to the manage_find tool. And maybe regular expression? Best Regards, Johan Carlsson

Hmm... the HTTP 1.1 specs say that 'the metainformation contained in the HTTP headers in response to a HEAD request SHOULD be identical to the information sent in response to a GET request'. Did you check what the Apache server you tested on returns on a GET request? It could be it is configured to return a directory listing, at which point the response to a HEAD request SHOULD give a 200 OK. On MS IIS, a HEAD or GET request on a directory always returns the same headers, wether there is a default document or not, and wether directory browsing is allowed or not. In the last case (no default doc, and browsing not allowed), the server returns a 403, forbidden. On Netscape Enterprise 3.0, HEAD and GET headers are also consistently the same. When Directory Indexing is set to 'None', and there is no default document, the server returns (both for GET and HEAD), a 500 Server Error response. Upper case conversion

I'm stumped. In the if statement below, I want it to evaluate to true for both 'Y' and 'y'. I can't seem to figure out how to use the upper(S) function.  evaluates to true for 'Y', but false for 'y' Help is always appreciated... Jeff.

Calling SQL methods

Please forgive this blatantly newbie question -- but to my defense, I couldn't find any real information on this topic in the guides, FAQ, or anywhere else. How do I execute an SQL Method from a DTML Method? Say I have an SQL Method with the SQL command: insert into blah (title) values () Now let's say I have a form, thusly: <form action="PostNew" method="post"> <input type="text" name="title" value=""> <input type="submit"> </form> Unfortunately, if PostNew the name of the SQL Method, it doesn't work. SQL Methods don't support this. Paul Everitt graciously suggested that I create a sort of proxy document:    Assuming that Post_The_Record is my SQL Method, it ought to pick up the REQUEST info and do the right thing. Unfortunately that doesn't happen. It seems that the "call" command doesn't do anything. I don't get any errors, but the SQL Method isn't executed, either. By the way, my real-world app uses the syntax  instead of the above, as I have a separate folder Data for the database objects. I'm mildly surprised that there is nothing in the tutorial, references, or guides that show how to do dynamic updates, ad-hoc queries, and so on. That said, this release adds quite a bit and is really worth checking out. The main new features are: * WebDAV support. * ZClasses and PropertySheets. * ZServer is now bundled with Zope. The complete change log is available. http://www.zope.org/Download/Releases/Zope-1.11.0pr1/CHANGES.txt The most exciting new thing is ZClasses, which unfortunately is not yet documented. I am working on a ZClasses tutorial at this very moment, and hope to release it in the next couple of days.
