Mailhost Error ...

hello, when I create a Mailform like stated in the HowTo (http://www.zope.org/Documentation/HowTo/MailForm) I get the following error: SMTP Error Recieved error code 553 from SMTP: 553 ... (_ZClass_for_CatalogAware should be second in the list of Base classes). I think the reason they asked in the first place is that it is easy to select "Object Manager" and then select "CatalogAware", which is a combination that doesn't work. So you're fine on this part... Total Newbie question

Hello, I would appreciate if someone could help me get started. I just started playing with 2.0 on Solaris. I am testing the example from the Trinkets tutorial and I can't seem to get it working. Here is what I have done: 1. Created a file called trinket.py and added it to a Folder called "/Tutorials" using the DTML method. The id I used is "Trinkets". I can see the file and edit it fine. The name of the class is Trinket and there is only one method (other than __init__) called download. This method (re)defines the index_html method. 2. Created the associated .dtml file and added it as a DTML Document. 3. I try to access this method as http:localhost/Tutorials/Trinkets/download. I get an error message: Zope Error Zope has encountered an error while publishing this resource. Debugging Notice Zope has encountered a problem publishing your object. Cannot locate object at: http://localhost/Tutorials/Trinkets/Trinket/download. I even tried to access just the /Tutorials/Trinkets, but I get the same error message. Thanks for your help. PS: BTW, is there a doc that tells where and how to add an ExternalMethod? Is what I am doing here considered an ExternalMethod or Extension? Actually, Brian Hooper kindly contributed some patches (that didn't apply, but... oh well :-) that fix this, and create the log format in Common Long Combined format (Analog has no problems handling it)... this should resolve the issue for most people until we can come up with a more flexible solution. Zope demonstration to UK Higher Education Establishments.

Hi all, Just a note to thank all of you. This week Tony McDonald, Paul Browning and myself (all list members and ardent Zope users) attended the 3rd annual Institutional Web Management Conference in the UK. We ran a small workshop and also exhibited some stuff that we have done between us, I also knocked up a small Zope portal site for the users to try in the workshop. I have to say the response was nothing short of remarkable, suffice to say that the Higher Education Sector in the Uk will probably have a lot more Zope users shortly.
