You do not publish the methods of classes but of objects (or class instances). Thus, your product must instantiatiate the class and either * place the instance as Zope object in the site hierarchy (there are some restrictions to observe, the class should be an instance of "Persistent" and "Acquisition.Implicit" (or "Explicit"). * use the "__bobo_traverse__" hook to make the object URL accessible. Your first example (the calendar) is probably best done in Javascript, which Zope "supports" to the extent that it doesn't give a damn what happens on the client (;-). It acts like any other webserver in this respect. Your other examples are supported by vaious Zope products (Squishdot, MailHost, ... erm.. no module for "rating other users" that I know of). Deer paz, my group figured out that there is a SQL function FORMAT that can be used to get rid of the L sufix that comes in the query result. e.g: SELECT FORMAT(int_key, 0) FROM data That code should result to you a query without the L sufix. Hello Ian sorry, I missed that. The only pointers I can give you is the following. Reading the "Python Programming on Win32" from O'Reilly, there is a short example on how to reboot a machine. In this example it is mentioned to refer to the MS WinNT Security document. Looks like the win32security module is just a wrapper around the standard MFC or C API for Microsoft. I have found http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/psdk/winbase/accclsrv_9cfm.htm. In this pointer is stated that the flag LOGON32_LOGON_NETWORK is associated with limitations as: "to authenticate clear text passwords". I suppose you did not tricked the registry to send clear password over the network, so this can be one problem. It could be that you should use LOGON32_LOGON_BATCH. Let me know, I' curious. It's just a standalone bit of Python that I can't get to work. Technically, I suppose, I'm having problems with the win32security module (I'm still keen to find some documentation if anyone can point me in the right direction), rather than Zope, but I was hoping someone here would have had similar problems. Hello Ian have you tried to do this in an External Method rather than in a script? Scripts have security checks which are not applied to external methods. This can be a little help in solving the problem. Regards Stefano Vedovelli
