Hello, I've got a very long list of names that comes from a column in an SQL table, and that column needs to be broken into a first name and a last name.. Because it is in a sense, a space-delimited field, I'm trying that route first. Not all of the names are in the standard format.. I'm using a dtml-in to loop through the returned records from an SQL query.. Within that loop, I'm using <dtml-var "_.string.split(SPEAKER,' ')[0]"> to successfully display the 'first name' (really the first part of the string) but when trying to use <dtml-var "_.string.split(SPEAKER,' ')[1]"> to display the part after the first space, even when I wrap that in a dtml-if I get an IndexError / list index out of range.. Does anyone have an obvious answer to what I'm doing wrong? Thank you, Chris

Hi, I am building a music database program, and I am having a problem. First off, this is the structure: ZMusicBase--- | zmbAlbum--- | zmbTrack The catalog for the product is created in the ZMusicBase directory. Hi, I'm very pleased to announced here the availability of ZShell 0.8, downloadable from: http://cortex.unice.fr/~jerome/zshell/ New features: ============= - Commands lsuser, catalog, uncatalog and find added. - Bug fixes on permissions. - Links are now correct in ls output. - ls output now includes the modification time - access to objects from their path is now done using unrestrictedTraverse instead of my stincky previous code. - Shell expansion is better: single quotes, double quotes, now work. - deluser doesn't expand wildcards anymore. - docstrings for deluser and adduser modified. - doctsring for call modified to tell people to not use it yet. - An unknown command is now displayed correctly. Remark: ======= It's very possible that some of you, just like me, become addicted to the new find command, particularly to its --exec option ! FWIW, our servers have been rock stable (on 2.3.1) since I fixed the lost transaction bug in TM.py. This bug only causes trouble if you use non-ZODB transactions, like with an external RDBMS. ZServer Must Be Continually Re-Started

Hello, I have the same (?) problem with a site running on our Zope server (Zope 2.3.0) -- The site just hangs from time to time (the Zope processes are still running, and not taking any more memory than usual, but ZServer is not responding to GET requests.) A stop/start cures the problem (until it happens again.) This site is a popular site, and gets spidered a lot, so I wonder if it is a thread consumption problem. I have written a Python script to monitor a Zope installation (authored it for just this problem) that is available from my Zope.org page, http://www.zope.org/Members/willdawg . Konqueror and enctype="multipart/form-data"

Guten Abend. After spending too much time trying to understand why the STX_Document product works perfectly with Netscape but doesn't with Konqueror, I found this: If you use a form (in this case: in the edit_form in this product) with enctype="multipart/form-data", using Konqueror creates an attribute (in this case: uploaded_body) with a single linefeed character for an empty file input, using Netscape the attribute is empty. This only happens when using enctype="multipart/form-data". It has already been reported to the KDE Bug Tracking System. Cheers, Nils

Not mad, definitely worth a poke around. I noticed this first with 1.10 on a production site. It would chug away happily during the day then die when I first opened a management screen the next morning. It seemed that it was that first management screen which caused bother - when serving ordinary pages after a long period of inactivity, it seemed happier.... Hi, I need to migrate/upgrade an old Zope/Squishdot to a new server with the latest versions of Zope Squishdot. I failed importing directly the posts. So I need to have the Old Squishdot 0.3.2 an migrate progressively to the latest version. 1/ Has somebody got aroadmap for doing this safely. 2/ Who can send me a tgz of Squishdot 0.3.2.
