The zope book talks about how to make objects catalog aware. It seems to me, that non-CMF content is not catalogued automatically when added. e.g. ZUBB discussions are not part of a CMF topic. Only when I manually update the catalogue, these content types are part of the show too. File Upload slow in Netscape

The file upload is very slow in netscape4.78 and mozilla. IE does it very quick. Are others having this problem, too? Is there a work-around? thomas

TinyTablePlus bug: key non-string columns not shown with '*'

Using the TinyTablePlus properties editor, I noticed that whenever I specified a key column which had a non-string type, for instance with vol_id*:int .... (adding the '*' after the name) and submitted this, the column spec would come back as vol_id:int .... as if vol_id had not been turned into a key column. This is due to a bug in method cols_text (), which is called by Edit.dtml to show the column spec. cols_text () was never recognizing such explicitly typed columns as keys because it was searching their names in the key columns list AFTER appending the ":type" suffix. Since the folders and the objects inside them have always the same owner, there is no reason for this bug to occur. In fact, the ownership is changed, but I cannot reindex the object because I get that strange error message I've previously described.

The following is slightly offtopic... www.zope.com contains some very nice Flash demonstrations of CMF that were probably made with a software that can capture user actions in Windows and save them to a .swf file. What kind of software can do this sort of thing? -- Milos Prudek

calendar

I'd like to have a company-wide calendar thing, like the one that Outlook and Exchange gives you. Free times, meetings, recurring events, such things. I think that maybe cmf does something like that, but whenever I try to access cmf.zope.org/calendar/calendar I get a page with DTML exception inspector. I don't have cmf installed now, but if you say so I will install it. Or you can recommend some other product. Regards Gee
