How to rotate the detailed log

I have read Tim's tip on log rotation (http://www.zope.org/Members/tim/logmanagement) and many treads on NIP about how to rotate the standard Z2.log file, but I have not found an easy way to rotate the detailed log file. I have found when I use third part log rotation tools, Zope stops logging as soon as the files rotates. I am running 2.5.1 on Linux. Is there a way to edit Z2.py or would I have to write something custom? I would appreciate any thoughts, - Ryan Watts

Hello, SUF works fine for me, using unencrypted passwords from a mysql-database. The problem is: my passwords _are_ encrypted using the sql-method 'Password'. I've found a Zope mysql-scheme patch (http://collector.zope.org/Zope/435/) that provides what i need... But I've no idea how I have to modify SimpleUserFolders to accept the mysql-scheme-patch :/ I've a user.py in SUF thats ihnerited from BasicUser... In BasicUser, there's a authenticate-method. .def authenticate(self, password, request): . passwrd=self._getPassword() . result = AuthEncoding.pw_validate(passwrd, password) . domains=self.getDomains() . if domains: . return result and domainSpecMatch(domains, request) . return result So SUF uses AuthEncoding.pw_validate(passwrd, password) to check my pass, right ? .def pw_validate(reference, attempt): . Hi, I was foound that this code always does pass and does not run dtml-except Did somebody knows what can I do? Going CRAZY from division

I have two integers "clicks" and "views" and am trying to find what the ratio of clicks to views. This should be (and is on my calculator) clicks / views * 100 (to get the percent) 3 / 356 * 100 = .842 % <dtml-var expr="clicks/views"> Returns = 0 <dtml-var expr="clicks/views" fmt="%.6f"> Returns 0.00000 I don't know what is wrong. Anyone? BZ

For smoother results and better overall image quality, try IM instead. PIL, ImageTag, compression, antialias and mode

Hi all, I was done thumbnail images. I find that ABSOLUTELLY BEST ONE and UNIVERSAL is ImageTag (called) "hotfix" (I was walk through whole zope mailinglist archive too). For those like me, creating+auto_caching of thumbnails are: <img src="image.jpg/thumb?width=150&height=300"> But I do not know how: * I can give compression level and compression type (huffman_optimized, progressive level) for JPEG files * I want to add antialiasing (I have PIL 1.1.3/W32 installed) im.resize((width,height),PIL.Image.ANTIALIAS) = it does not work for me with image.thumbnail :(( but I can do something wrong, I'm not familiar with Python (it is not 8048 assembler 8-)) * I want original file format (last line from codes below) * If I will update source image, how to tell to Cache for Invalidate? hi Nicolas, this would be pretty easy to do, although I'm more a dtml man then zpt (until it finally drives me mad). so I can give you some ideas, but you'll have to work out the difference between the two. I'd have a common dtml-method that is called at the top of each page, in the standard_html_header, which displays all the tab text, with graphical seperators between them to give the illusion of tabs. There would be conditional statements around each tab to identify the id of the page being displayed, and setting the colour of that tab to be the same as the main page, and setting the colour of the others to a dimmer shade.
