VHM and ProxyPass

I am having a lot of trouble getting apache to work with zope and VHM. I have followed the howto, but the virtual host just hangs when I go to it... It doesn't appear to be a zope problem, as the virtual host seems fine. Still, I am currious if anyone knows anything about using proxypass with zope to make that work.

tal:repeat

I am using this code to generate a navigation bar. I need to have a different bgcolor attribute on the td if we're already in that folder. In other words, I need to do tal:attributes="bgcolor string:red" but only where folder == here. The condition only applies to the bgcolor attribute so I'm not sure where it goes. Hi everyone, I was just wondering on what people's opinions are on the best applications to use for editing dtml files - I want something with at least a bit of syntax coloring - is there anything designed specifically for dtml? If not, what else would be best to use? dynamic dtml-tree

I found dtml-tree today, and it provides the exact UI I want to use. I even managed to make it work to display the contents of the current folder. I haven't yet seen any docs that describe how the dtml-tree works. The page that I will generate will be based on data from several SQL databases and consolidated by a Python Script. I need to know the structure of the data that dtml-tree expects and how to handle expansion requests. Any pointers, docs, discussions, or examples are greatly appreciated. -D -- Windows, hmmm, does it come with a GUI interface that works or just pretty blue screens? i have a main page template: index_html i have a number of content templates that i would like to include into my main page. the title property is set for each object: content_1, title = "number one" content_2, title = "number two" content_3, title = "number three" i'm trying to dynamically choose which content object to display based on a request variable. here is what i have in index_html: <HTML tal:define="page request/page | string:content_1"> <span tal:replace="python:container[page].title">title</span> <span tal:replace="structure python:container[page]">body</span> this is what i see if i browse to index_html?page=content_2 number one <ZopePageTemplate instance at 8960bf0> so the title is working! but the body is not. how can i get zope to include the contents of the object? is there a better way to translate a string into an object? if i make a call to tal:replace="container/content_1" i have no problems - i just can't figure out how to do this dynamically... thanks!

On the page at <URL:http://www.zope.org/Products/Zope/2.5.1/Zope-2.5.1-src.tgz/view>, the link for downloading points to <URL:http://10.0.11.2:1380/Products/Zope/2.5.1/Zope-2.5.1-src.tgz>. The host part of that URL, 10.0.11.2:1380, is wrong. Calling a method with an unusual name.

I am forced to name all my zope methods with the extension .dtml because M$ word refuses to save the files in WebDAV unless they have an extension. This creates a problem when I try to call a python expression from DTML: <dtml-var "something.dtml"> comes back with "global name something not found". How do I call documents with an extension? example: <dtml-var "phys_petoverview2.dtml()">
