Restore database to certain date

Hello, Is is possible to restore my ZODB to a certain date? 2 days ago I deleted my plone site, this side was residing in a directory. After that I did a lot on Zope, including stuff in this parent dir of the previous plone site. When I try to undo things, I often have undoable transaction errors, even when I start with the last ten transactions, I constantly get errors. Am I able to restore the database to state of a certain date? A problem..

Dear Sir, I'm a regular user of Zope software. I work in my office offline & have no problems at all. I decided to start working at home & I installed Zope. Everything is fine but the problem arises here: I'm not able to able to work offline. It asks me to connect to the internet. What should I do?? ExtFile Product and mime-types

After importing a new file via PythonScript manage_addProduct['ExtFile'].manage_addExtFile(id, title, descr, file) some files have automatically the Content-Type 'application/octet-stream'. How do I change the identification of these files afterwards, and how can I change the Product's autodetection for the next files to upload? NuxDocument Nonfunctional

On FreeBSD 4.7 I'm running Zope 2.5.1 that I've patched with all the Unicode diffs from http://www.zope.org/Members/efge/i18n/Unicode-2.5.1. I've also installed Localizer 1.0.0. All in an attempt to get NuxDocument 1.1alpha functional. (I've installed all the necessary converter apps as well: wvWare, etc.) I *think* I've installed NuxDocument correctly, but the very first instruction is confusing: "Install the product in Products (NOT lib/python/Products!). The ZNuxDocument product should appear in the ZMI." Well, the *only* "Products" directory in existence on my system is lib/python/Products. So that's where I stuck it. Now I see a "NuxDocument" available as something I can Add in the ZMI (not "ZNuxDocument"). Strange session behavior

Hi, I'm using Zope 2.6.1b1 (but the same behavior is exhibited by 2.6.0) and IE6 on XP. Before I spend a long time debugging this I thought I'd ask the list: Either IE's cookie handling (doubt it, since I tried this with highly permissive privacy settinngs) or Zope's browser id manager, or Zope's session manager or Zope's transient objects folder is misbehaving. Symptom: Session data is periodically and intermittently lost within a period of time much much shorter than the transient object timeout. To test this I use a single IE window reloading the very same "test.html" ZPT that simply checks for the existance of the key 'foo' in REQUEST.SESSION and reports the result (and sets it to 1 always). Preliminary evidence is that the problem is exacerbated by concurrent request handling. I test this using a windows client that utilizes the WinHTTP COM+ object to generate requests running on a separate machine (no chance of IE stepping on itself). Of possible relevance is that external python methods are invoked to fulfill the WinHTTP generated requests. Any initial hints on where to look? Thanks, Andrew Athan

I think your case is similar to mines, but the crash circunstances, which I've already disscused in another topic, are different: My zope died, but the Xron method couldn't be completed successfully. Then when Zope tried again to start, xron tried again to trigger the method. But zope died again and so on. In other words, Zope couldn't complete the transaction and thats why Xron couldn't reschedule the method. This is a reason that makes me think about migrating my Xron Methods to the crontab. setHeader, but no getHeader

Why does lib/python/ZPublisher/HTTPResponse.py have a setHeader(), but not a getHeader()? Seeing how setHeader() converts the header name to lowercase, it would make sense to have a getHeader() that converts the queried key to lower before searching self.headers. [Oops, but then what about the literal flag?] Hmm, maybe HTTPResponse.py is assuming everyone reads the relevant RFCs? ;-) Cheers, // m -
