import of "PythonScript" is unauthorized

At attempt of import import PythonScript from Products.PythonScripts.standard import html_quote request = container.REQUEST RESPONSE = request.RESPONSE I receive the following mistake Error Type: ImportError Error Value: import of "PythonScript" is unauthorized I have checked in Sequrity all rights for all usercategories, but it has not helped. Hi there, I'm running Python 2.1.3, Zope 2.6.2b5, CMF 1.3.2, Plone 1.05, almost stock (newbie), and have it running well on Mac OS X Server 10.2.8. I back it up nightly, and a couple of nights ago I noticed that my backups were taking longer and resulting in much larger tar files. I poked around, and the only difference is in the zopedebug.log file (stored in the same directory as the Data.fs file). Before it was 30Mb and now it is over 700Mb. Obviously, the main performance bottleneck is in the backup process, but I imagine there are others as well. So I'm wondering how to configure Zope in the ZMI to make this file smaller. To my knowledge, I did not change anything on my system that would cause this large debug log. I almost never get into the ZMI. Is there a way to configure the Zope log level in ZMI? Any help appreciated. Thanks. standard_error_message - including object name

I've set up standard_error_message to e-mail me the error messages. I'm interested in how to get the name of the object that generated the error inserted in the e-mail. I tried putting <dtml-var REQUEST> inside of the <dtml-sendmail> it doesn't seem to insert anything... I'm interested in other ways to make the standard_error_message more useful as well. Sorry if I've missed something in my googling. Even a URL to a resource on this would be appreciated thx -- David

TAL DTML Method & folder question

Hello, I've teh following line in a pagetemplate at the root of my site : <span tal:content="structure template/masters/nieuws/homenews"></span> homenews is a DTML Method with the following code : <div align="center" class="titel">Laatste Masters nieuws</div> <img src="gfx/tabel/lijn.gif" width="100%" height="2"><br> <dtml-in expr="objectValues('DTML Document')" reverse size=3 sort=id orphan=0> <dtml-if Publish> <dtml-var Date fmt="%d-%m-%Y">:  <a href="masters/nieuws/<dtml-var id>/newstemplate"><dtml-var title></a><br> </dtml-if> </dtml-in> This code has to show the last 3 news items (DTML Document's). Something is going wrong with a folder or somethin like that because the DTML Method show no news items. Mayby because there are no DTML Document with the right properties in the root. How can I tel Tal or the DTML Method to look for the news items in the following folder: /masters/nieuws Who can help me ?

Making javascript with ZPT variables

I'm sure this is FAQ, but I can't really find anything conclusive. I have a ZPT page, in which I have quite a bit of javascript, in which I need ZPT variables. It works fine in Mozilla, by the way. So, I need to define one BUG javascript, that not only defines the codes, but also the variables. The problem here is mainly ho I can get the code, which is text, together with the lists, that need python code for the conversion. How do you people to it? //Lennart

Hi Dieter, thanks for your suggestion. After a little bit of work, finally I got it. Now seems that my product works and doesn't have those assertion problems mentioned by Chris. Zope 2.7

FROM THE ZOPE ROADMAP Zope 2.7 was planned to be released in Q1 2003. Zope 2.7.0beta1 is released (July 21th). No date has been set for Zope 2.7 final. In 2.7 Berkely storage will be added. Python 2.2.3 will be the required platform for Zope 2.7. Zope 2.7 compiles and starts up fine with Python 2.3 but there are a bunch of unittests failing, so it's not recommended. Both Zope 2.6.2 and Zope 2.7 have a the chrism-install-branch install mechanism: ./configure ; make ; make install THE BIG QUESTION When will Zope 2.7 reach the point that it can be used for production? The production schedule seems to have slipped a bit (ummm. Isn't October really the start of 4Q).
