Jamie: Thanks for such a quick answer. I was hoping to not have to install Apache. With the binary version of zope provided on the zope.org site, I was able to change the port number by editting z2.py. I was hoping to do something similar with the Debian version of zope, and from reading the zopectlrc man page it appeared that it should be possible to do this without running Zope's server behind Apache. I just installed zope on a debian testing (actually libranet) system (hostname guppy). This system is intended to be a dedicated server for an in-house application. I would like people to be able to access it with out specifying the port number. I changed the /etc/zopectl/zopectlrc file line from HTTP-Port: 9673 to HTTP-Port: 80 and restarted /etc/init.d/zope - but the zope welcome page was still only available from http://guppy:9673 Thanks in advance for any suggestions on addressing this. Plone: adding an event

I need to get a simple calendar going. I thought it would be easy to install Plone and allow users to create events. It's not. I can add events, but when I try to submit an edit (even the initial one), I get an AttributeError on "form". Any advice? I thought this would work "out of the box." Some guidance would be great. I could really use some hand holding getting started. I'm willing to pay a little for the help. Please let me know if you're interested. Thank you. --kyler

I have finally merged your patch with the zsyncer source tree, and added you to credits.txt. It's in current CVS on sourceforge. aha, Copy/Paste works, except when trying to copy an LDAPUserFolder object. That's what causes the run-away memory usage. So .. nevermind, APE is great! .. APE w/ 2.7.0b2 copying from ZODB to fs Storage

I'm running APE 0.7.1 on Zope 2.7.0b2 with Python2.3 on RH Linux 9 I am able to get a fs mount installed using the directions in components.xml and I can create items in the fs storage area. However, when I try to copy items from a Folder that's in my ZODB and paste them into the fs Mount point, Zope appears to go into some massive memory allocation loop and eventually I get an out of memory error. (I only have 1.9 meg in my ZODB instance, about 60 items really) I recall reading somewhere that objects could not be copied between mount points, so I did a .zexp import, but when I try to import I get "ZEXP import not implemented" So .. How do I copy items out of a ZODB based storage and the fs APE storage? Hello, I have an instance of LeakFinder 0.1.1 running. Someone else installed it there so I'm not sure if it ever worked. ZEO Install Questions

I am trying to install ZEO 2.0b3 on a fresh copy of Zope 2.6.2. I installed Zope 2.6.2 successfully and I am able to get to the ZMI.
