Hi! I've got a XHTML-Document with MathML. This document is static and should only be served by zope. The problem is, that in older versions than 2.6.0 it is working, but since this version the document my browser (mozilla) starts loading the document, shows the title and the stops without error. This is strange, because the document is valid and it works with an older version of zope. Is this a bug or did I do something wrong? Thanks Sebastian

Catalog: access index value in ZPT

Hi all, ZWiki, IssueTracker: I want to get all issues from the current folder but not the subfolder/subwiki (which has an own catalog and issuetracker). AFAICS a catalog always catalogues the subfolders and i cannot configure it to not do this, is this right? So i have to do it with query logic resp. filtering the results later. My IssueTracker implementation is in ZPT, it's translated 1:1 from the dtml-version, so it does a query and loops over it at once: ### condition for path should go here (?) ### table rows for the results ### repeat loop How can i show only issues (items) from the current folder? I thought about using the path index, so i added it to the metadate in Catalog cfg. and updated the Cat. Then i try to access the path from an item with (print it for testing) but that doesn't work. All other metadata can be accessed via "item.metadata", only path indizes not. Why? Is there a better way to do that? It seems to be a Security Issue. I managed to get a 20M snapshot of a Data.fs that exhibits the bug. I thought that the Zope team would be interested... ;-) Anyway, since some operations done in the interface brings functionality back it is something at least partially Zope. The only major problem is that it is not predictable! You can sometimes do tens of open/save from HomeSite and nothing goes wrong! I've dumped some of the traffic towards the machines but I didn't had time to analyze it. It looks like IE's requests leave the XP workstation arrive at the Zope server but the Zope remains silent... :-|

Debugging and Environment Variables

I am stuck on a minor problem that someone here could probably help me with. I have posted this a few times now and gotten no answers so ANY help is greatly appreciated. MailHost under Zope 2.6.1

Hello, I just used mailhost=getattr(context, context.superValues('Mail Host')[0].id) mailhost.send('Hello', 'you(a)something.org', 'me(a)anything.org', 'Test') to send mails under Zope 2.5.x. Once I updated to Zope 2.6.1 Mails via this method are quite strange. They have no subject in the Mail header but the body part contains: Subject: Test To: you(a)something.org From: me(a)anything.org Date: Mon, 31 Mar 2003 10:24:00 +0200 Hello This is really strange and so I searched the web and found http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Mail/Message/zope-List/1412602 Unfortunately that is not the solution but a hint to search the list archive for the problem. Detecting Mozilla based browsers

Sorry, this is perhaps some OT, but perhaps some of you made this... I'm trying to detect (server side) Mozilla+Midas compatible browsers. Since this feature (Midas) is new, finding "Gecko" in the user agent signature doesn't seem to be enough. Any clue ? Does it need a Javascript helper ? Thanks in advance --Gilles

Skins folder for python (non-cmf) product

I am making a product which will act as the 'core' for a site which uses some of my customer products like 'customer' and 'salesperson'. I want any request for a page to be handled by the core product which will provide skins like main_template, customer_search_form, salesperson_add_form. What sort of hack do I need to perform so that when, for example, someone requests customer_search_form while they are in the Customer folder, the search form gets acquired from my core object? I am currently doing this by defining variables in my 'class Core:' for each possible skin. However, I want to get away from defining each skin in the core class. I want each skin in the filesystem directory Core/www to become available to all subobjects. Any hints? Thanks. Chad
