REMOTE_ADDR unavailable when using Virtual host

Hi, I am using a Zope installation on a windows 200 server behind an Apache 2. Accessing the site trough ZMI i get the correct REQUEST.REMOTE_ADDR. When I do the same in a product, request.REMOTE_ADDR contains the server IP address. How can I get to the original client ip address? I tried to set ProxyVia on in the Apache config file. hi there i have a problem with zope/plone since i upgraded my debian-server i can only see the following document- types: folder, forum, photo, topic all the rest is not there. any suggestions? regards daniel

I would recommend The Zope Bible and the Zope Book; the latter of these is available freely online (use the 2.6 version of the book). The Zope Bible is a good reference and tutorial on building Python products in Zope, and it is pretty comprehensive, which sounds like what you want to do. Supplement this with the online Zope Developer's Guide as a secondary reference for product development. Postgress and zope...

dear ladies and sirs: I'm about to install nmy second Zope installation, and wish to know if any one has any hints and/or tips on installing postgress sql with zope. In my first installation is had a real tough time getting the 2 to work. I was thinking about using all the standard SuSE 8.2 versions... Error on ZDataQueryKit

Hi, I am using ZDataqueryKit on Zope233, runnning on a Conectiva Linux box. I have already some queries working but when I try to run a stored procedure call I got the error below. Since other queries are working I don't think it is a configuration problem. Also, the procedure runs without problems on the W2K machine. Any hint? Error on Tutorial

Zope 2.6.1 run on Solaris 8 with Python 2.2. Test and Manage Ok. When I try to install the tutorial, Zope send this error : Error Type: Bad Request Error Value: The ZGadflyDA product must be installed! The ZGadflyDA product is in the list under Product Management at /Control_Panel/Products On my PC it work's fine What's wrong? Francis
