Error when starting Zope 2.9.0

Yellow ppl, I've instaled Zope 2.9.0 on Fedora 4 using Python 2.4.2 compiled from source. Everything ok. I followed the iungo installation procedure on a box that runs zope 2.9 and the zexp went smoothly and the call to manage_convertIndexes went smoothly but on the production box, I can't call this url because the iungo instance doesn't exist. Ignore stopwords/characters in alphabetical results

Hi, I have been asked to improve the order of search results, so that stop words and certain characters at the beginning of a title are ignored. "Final Report", "The Final Report" and "[Final] Report" all need to appear under the letter 'F'. We are running Zope 2.7.8-final with python 2.3.5, under FreeBSD6. Until I was hit with this request, the default ZCatalog and ZCTextIndexes have given good results. I did try to install TextIndexNG3, according to the instructions in the readme but was unable to restart Zope (no message was left in event.log). Would this product make the difference I need? Multiple SUBMIT images on one form

I gather that the problem whereby having more than one IMG submit on a single form causes some browsers (IE but not firefox) problems is well known. The problem is solved by using the positional attributes x,y in a cgi script. However, using Zope I cannot see how to access these atributes anmd certainly request.form does not appear to give me enough information to assertain which button has been submitted. I'll confess to still using 2.7.2 so someone may tell me it's fixed......or is there a workaround? can't find template (newbie)

Hi all, I have been given to look at a website running on Zope for one of our partner. The site has been installed by a developer who since left that partner. The installation is as often undocumented which doesn't really help me getting through the setup. Zope 2.7.5 is installed, CMF 1.4 as well. All I need to do is to modify the address of our partner which appears at the bottom of page when you go on their home page. Simple... well I thought it would be... I did a search within the Zope file system on the server hoping I would find the template used to generate the index_html but I could't found any file containing the address but a siteroot_view.pt file. However this file doesn't seem to be the one I am looking for. I modified it, restarted Zope, checked the page (after cleaning my browser cache)... but I can't see the change I have made. I then logged on the CMS site to check if the footer could be changed from there; it cannot be changed. I can modify some portion of the page but not the footer. I then logged on the Zope Management Interface and tried to understand where the footer could be defined but with no success. Taking a look to the log files didn't help neither; Nor to the Zope/CMF manuals. I am basically out of ideas! Any help to figure out how to find that template will be appreciated!! Any idea where to locate that template or modify that template? Could it be that the template is only stored in the Zope DB and not accessible/visible as text file? I must have missed something... Hi, In our institut customer administration want to manage editing updating and modifying web page under zope with account authentification. There aren't supposed to know html, dmtl, zpt language. Are there tools to allow them do those actions under text format which will fill the web content of our web site under zope plateform. Thanks sincerely

Base 64 passed into Zope

I have a system which is accepting Base 64 encoded data from an external source, due to the protocol being used at the other end this is being passed in through a URL variable. e.g. http://foo.bar.com?Data=uiDggGREJJytIIUicSSAa+WEhnGK I am having an issue (Using Zope 2.7.6, Python 2.3.5) where the + and / characters in the incoming data are being replaced with spaces. Unfortunately, since both + and / are being replaced with the same character, it is not simply a matter of doing a find and replace on the string to restore these characters. This system did work fine for a long while. I upgraded the machine's Python from 2.3.5 to 2.4.1 a couple of months ago and have now reverted back to 2.3.5. Has anyone encountered a similar problem before and how can I work around/through it? Kindest regards Jonathan Cleaver
