I don't see ZEO anywhere with Zope2.6.2-src. Also I've been informed that ZEO-2.0.1b1.tar.gz is old, however that is the latest stable release listed http://www.zope.org/Products/ZEO . There is a reference to do what Paul suggested however I don't seem to have an e-mail from Paul(I might of accidentally deleted :-( So basically I'm wondering what version is suggest to be used and where/how I get it? is valid_tags property available in ZOPE?

Hi All, I want to restrict the use of some tags in Documents and News posted by members. I just went through the valid_tags property available in squishdot package for handling News. Is that property available in ZOPE. Can i use the same?. Or else could somebody tell me how to remove some unwanted Non-HTML tags introduced by MSWord, when creating HTML. I did not use apt-get install zope. but i install zope from tar file root can not start zope and i MUST login normal user (i created user named zope) end run script: /home/zope/Zope-2.6.2-linux2-x86/start who send me a script /etc/init.d/zope (it must work as any script etc/int.d/, using root) grazie

Strange Error when using a class

Hello everyone, I've begun maintening a project using lots of classes and the first objective is to port this project to zope. Well, I create one of my object inheriting from SimpleItem (I want this object to be persistent) but now I've got this strange error : Module ZPublisher.Publish, line 92, in publish Module Zope.App.startup, line 215, in startup TypeError: Sequence item 3: expected string, int found I know what it mean but I fail to see what this means in zope context. -- (�> Nicolas �vrard / ) Li�ge - Belgique ^^

in an earlier Slip i wrote that i was successful with Zope-2.6.2b5 and python2.1. The reconstruction of this attempt failed until now. Now i have tried it again, with a "little" change in the start-script. I started without any arguments like so: exec $PYTHON \ $PYTHONHOME1/z2.py \ -u zope -d [nameserver-ip] "$@" and the z2 Startup exception disappeared. The "cannot import Splitter" is now reflected in some ERROR(200). Successively i added my arguments and looked for the startup behaviour. The "-D" lets the startup end in an "z2 Startup exception". Finally startline is now: exec $PYTHON \ $PYTHONHOME1/z2.py \ -X -t 10 -u zope -d [nameserver-ip] "$@" Error producing startline: exec $PYTHON \ $PYTHONHOME1/z2.py \ -D -X -t 10 -u zope -d [nameserver-ip] "$@" strange, isn't it? log specific user activity in plone site

I have a plone site were we log with the supperlogger product. With this we can see which pages are popular etc. Sometimes it would be nice to see what a specific user has viewed/downloaded etc. Can this be done with the normal zope logs? if not, is there a product that does log this activity?

I was working on that. How do I catch the exception before it becomes an error? I saw something in the various docs about DateTime.DateTimeError, but I can't figure out how to implement it. How do I test a date to be valid?

When a user inputs a date from a form, how can I test it to be valid? I'd want 01/15/2003 to test as valid, but 02/31/2003 to test as false. Jeff Nielsen http://www.UgoFast.com
