aq_explicit permission: where set?

I'm testing the new sitemap method http://zope.org/Members/mwr/python_zpt_sitemap_zen and I get the following error: "You are not allowed to access aq_explicit in this context" I'm logged in as a manager. Where in ZMI can I allow aq_explicit? -- Milos Prudek

SQLite database adapter

After trashing around and making a bunch of guesses I put a folder called ZSQLiteDA into the E:\Program Files\WebSite\lib\python\Products\ directory and now ZOPE startup recognizes the folder and attempts to load the product. It failed with ImportError: No module named sqlite. I tried putting the sqlite folder in the products directory, then the ZSQLiteDA directory. Now it fails with ImportError: No module named _sqlite. I have run out of ideas. What should I do? Is there some place that explains how all this is supposed to work, or are we all on our own? Best Practice for Apache 2.0, Zope and SSL

I've spent some time looking through Zope.org for some enlightenment concerning how best to use Zope with SSL, but there are many different tutorials, with different answers. What does the list currently recommend about the following options: * Is there a good patch for ZServer to support https directly, or should I run ZServer under Apache 2.0 with mod_ssl? * Do I need to use the Zope.cgi script, and if not, how do I get around it? * How is mod_proxy used with SSL, and how is this different from using mod_rewrite alone? * Is it better to use Virtual Host Monsters or the "Site Access" product to serve different sites from the same Zope instance. The various howtos and The Zope Book are all over the map on what to do in this case. I'm curious which solution performs best for multiple sites under one instance. Thanks, Rob

I am so lost.

I was attracted to ZOPE by its power and integration with Python. Now I am experiencing extreme frustration, because I do not know how do to things that are essential, and don't know how to get the information I need. Floundering Trying to Start Out

Help! I have some experience with other content management systems but I'm floundering with Zope & CMF. I have a site up and running (http://techcomm.us) but how do I do basic things like put a calendar on the left hand side of the page? I added a CMF Calendar Tool, and now portal_calendar shows up at the root of my CMF site... but now what? Any other pointers would be appreciated, too. End user help system product

Does anyone know of a help system suitable for end users of a Zope web application? I have KnowledgeKit, but it is about 4 years old and doesn't have facilities for just putting up help for a page or context help for page elements. Anyone have something they can recommend? 1) I think I would put the project names in a table of their own with the key (id) set to "auto_increment", such would solve your numbering/display problem. [create table trash (id int not null auto_increment,...);] Then insert like: insert into trash values (null,....); the null causes the auto_increment to kick in. 2) use <dtml-var name="ID" sql_quote> (actually, I'm not sure whether or not you need the "sql_quote" part, but you do need the "name=" part.
