Hello, Thanks for this. The reason I need to do the int() is because the underlying data is float is was getting 123.0 ... And I don't want the decimals to show at all. Mind you no matter how I do it, I can't seem to get the int() and "null=" functioning properly together. Of course, this could be because if the database contains an "empty" value of some kind, it can't be converted to an int ... Which would suggest that Zope is evaluating the expression before testing the "emptyness" of the resulting value, which I guess makes sense, but is a bit of a pain in the butt :) Ah well, Thanks for the help anyways! If you are just displaying the data (as with dtml-var), you do not really have to convert it into an integer anyway. This would avoid the problem. If you need to do some formatting, you ought to be able to do it with a formatting string rather than trying to convert to in integer. Also, once you work out what you want to do, you will want to use null="N/A", since the argument of null must be a string. Hi Bryan, I ran into the same error message recently, although not in CMF, but using the sendmail tag. It turned out to be caused by setting a blank email address in the To: field. In the maillog the entry showed no status (Sent, etc) and the nrcpts field showed 0. Bob Corriher P-Wave Inc.

Exact phrase searches

I can't seem to find any documentation on doing an exact phrase search in Zope. I've tried "exact phrase" ,(exact phrase), +"exact phrase" and they all seem to work just like an "and" search. Does anyone have any ideas on where I can find documentation? Even zope.org returns 0 on "exact phrase" Michael

Hi, I need to understand the rules in passing variables between dtml and python. All I am doing at this point is converting an integer to a string. In this format when I test it I get the results I was looking for. SEQUENCES on SAPDB

Hi! Sorry for the somehow off-topic subject, but the SQL reference doc I've downloaded from SAPDB website hasn't been that helpful. I want to create a auto-incremented primary key on a table. On SQL Server it's easy since you can set an attribute to auto-increment. On Interbase it's not that easy: you have first to create a generator and then a trigger that will increment that generator on each insertion. How can I do that on SAPDB? I suspect it might have something to do with SEQUENCES, so I've just created one, but now I need to associate it with the primary key. How can I do it? Using a trigger? Sorry, but the SAPDB SQL doc is anything but "user-friendly". thanks, Vitor Varalonga

CMF Portal Catalog issue(Please Reply urgently)

Hello, I have a problem with ZCatalog in my CMF site. Lately i checked that the objects indexed by Portal_Catalog has increased by a very large extent. When i checked i found that the Portal Catalog has started indexing the python sripts and Page Template files which form a part of the code for my site. I dont know why these entries have started coming up. Any ideas Regards, Yaser
