Hi All: I'm using the titles of my pages as the subject in my webmaster email links. However some of my titles use "&" and it seems that it breaks off the rest of the title after it. Can I replace the "&" with "&"? If so how and or do I need to do some thing else? Thanks, Todd

conflict errors

Zope nubie here: Been playing (TM) with zope (its a hobby actually) on win98rev2 lately just to see how it works in an ms environment as opposed to linux. On several occasions now I have seen the following error while installing various products. Most recently this occurred on installing the ZDP toolset. error: ConflictError: ("'\\x00\\x00\\x00\\x00\\x00\\x00\\x00\\x06'", '<extension class App.ApplicationManager.ApplicationManager at 00FEA520>') with the application not installing of course. Can someone explain this notation to me as I have no clue as it to it meaning beyond the general and its reaosn for occurance. application: ZDPtools test system: win98rev2 zope: stable latest 2.4.3 python: zope supplied 2.1.1 Chris H. access cvsweb thru Zope

Hi, I'm trying to find a way to use perl cvsweb CGI script via Zope. The main reason for this - use powerful auth means that Zope has. Our CVS repository is partitioned on project basis using standard UNIX mechanism (owner/group/perm). So I can't simply run cvsweb from anonymous user --- it won't has required permissions. I (probably) need to auth user first (thru Zope) and then run cvsweb.cgi from that user. Does anyone do something similar? Is it possible at all? AFAIU I should grok External Method first. -- Rgrds, Max Ischenko

ANNOUNCEMENT: New Zope-based Public Site

Hi Zopistas, Just wanted to let you know that there is a new Zope/MySQL based public site out now. It is release 1.0 so the features are still somewhat limited. iResolve.com is located at www.iresolve.com and is a free community site (although you need to join) for people to create resolutions and share them with others. Take a look. Feedback is welcome. New planned features for version 2.0 include: email reminders, progress journals, friend list, polls, and getting CMF running. If anyone wants to help with content or new features, let me know (no economic compensation, but lots of reputational and psychological rewards). A couple of thank yous are in order: 1. Zope Corp and MySQL AB for providing great technology. 2. iMeme.net for helping me figure out FreeBSD and fixing some of my dumb mistakes (especially Jon on Christmas day - what a gem!). 3. Here's a solution similar to what you'd need (taken from http://sportsters.thuban.org/Trips) note the first-<var>/last-<var>: I had to dig to find out that these existed. I have written a replacement for CMF MemberDataTool that uses MySQL as backend. logout a user when he(she) goes out of a folder

Hi, My root page (/index_html) contents 3 links : A/ Anonymous can follow every links in the folder where is base this first link. B/Only user with an authentication can follow the links inside the folder where is based this second link C/This third link brings to a CMF site. The problem : When a user follows links of second folder (B) and come back to the third folder, he(she) is identified as the authenfication of the seconde folder and cannot logout properly from CMF. What are the solutions to logout properly the user coming from (B) to (C). I tried to created a logoutuser method under root containing a call to logout and redirection to /index_html but it fails badly. The navigation in B content a link on this logout method (/root) Hope you know an answser. FR

Tiny Tables

G'day, I am new to this list, and immediately I have a problem ;) It appears the Tiny Tables have become corrupted within the site, so it keeps falling over. What I am trying to find out is if there is a way to repair these while keeping the site in its current state. Unfortunately, the site is amateur, and back-ups have fallen behind. Though we can recover from a backup, it will be somewhat dated and a large amount of work will needed to be redone by the contributors. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Wade Pearce
