Installing ZODBC --- adding the product

Hi all --- First off, I am a novice at Zope. I have it installed on a WinNT 4.0 box, and I am trying to interface it with MS SQL 7.0. I am having problems installing sql.pyd into Zope itself. I can't seem to make it appear under the add method drop-down. Anyone give me a step-by- step guide (link or instructions in the email) to adding sql.pyd to make it appear, because I can simply not find any reference out there on the web. Geez. Modification Reminder

I am working on a project that requires people to update their (HTML-)documents about once every 6 month. Is there a Zope "plug-in" of any kind that gives me the opportunity to check all the files in a specific folder and it's subfolders for the modification time and send an email to the user who uploaded/created it if the modification date lies back more than 6 month? Has anyone any experiences with a problem like this and could offer a solution? Thank you very much for any help. Niclas Kuehne

Hi Gilles, Why not just use SiteAccess w/Enhanced VirtualHostMonster (http://www.zope.org/Members/sfm/SiteAccessEnhanced)? This product does away with the need for extra AccessRules. It's a very clean product. Is it treating your variable as a string vs. a number? If so, you can use <dtml-var expr="_.string.atoi(myVariable)"> to convert from a string to a number. Hi, I am quite sure that I'm missing something obvious, but I'm absolutely pulling my hair out. I am trying to pull data out of a TinyTable based on a variable. Here's an example: <dtml-in "TinyTable(row_id= myVariable)"> <dtml-var col_1> </dtml-in> If I replace myVariable with a literal, like '1', it works (naturally). What am I overlooking? Checking on the Zope code, some time ago, I believe I found where the culprit is/was but, having no much time to mess with the code, did't tried the fix. Guess most of us just learned to live with that 5 hour offset. By the way, I am using Central Standard Time with daylight savings or, Mexico Central Standard time but same phonemenon happens between systems logs and Zope's Z2 log. Just my 2 cents.
