CoreSessionTracking and Zope-2.4.1

Hi, I installed 2.4.1b1 the same way as my 2.3.3 with the Products directory in ZINSTANCE_HOME created symlinks to the actual products, startet Zope, and all Products show up except CoreSessionTracking, its not broken, its just not there. I copied it into the Products directory, same thing :(( Did someone successfully install CoreSessionTracking in Zope-2.4.1b1 Mit freundlichen Grüßen Joachim Schmitz AixtraWare, Ing. The way I have it working, if you call tag() with the same size twice, at the least, the client browser should use the locally cached version (at least, it did for me), so I don't see that it's necessary to have specially named methods. I have thumb hard coded (in tag), because that's the method the browser will then call (with arguments) to actually fetch the image. mysql - to many connections

Hello! I had a little problem with my MySQL DB. During developing mysql reached the max_connections value. The processlist says there are 100 connections, but all sleeping. Most oft the connections sleeping longer then default timeout, but wouldn't get killed. System: win2k MySQL win32 binary 3.23.39 Zope 2.3.3 mysqluserfolder 0.6.1 mysql-python 0.9.0 ZMySQL-DA 2.0.7 Hope someone could help. Squishdot 1.3.0 Released!

Squishdot 1.3.0 is now available from: http://www.squishdot.org/Download. The following major changes were made: - Squishdot is now compatiable with Zope 2.4.0 and above but still works with Zope 2.3.x. - Many, many bugs were fixed and a lot of refactoring was done. - A fairly complete PyUnit test suite has been written. Bug in PostGre adapter for Zope, for type string in arguments of ZSQL Methods (?)

(ok, sorry, i´m spanish.. ;-D) I´m trying to do something like this in a ZSQLMethod: select * from table_name where table_field1=<dtml-sqlvar argument1 type=int>; And it works successfully. But if I try with: select * from table_name where table_field2=<dtml-sqlvar argument2 type=string>; I get an unexpected error: Error, exceptions.NameError: global name 'string' is not defined -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SQL used: Could not render the query template! I have tried some another ways to access the query: select * from table_name where table_field2='<dtml-sqlvar argument2 type=string>'; select * from table_name where table_field2=<dtml-sqlvar argument2 type="string">; select * from table_name where table_field2='<dtml-sqlvar argument2 type="string">'; ... But, nothing. If i try this: select * from table_name where table_field2='value'; It works successfully again. Why can´t Zope render the query template? Why does Zope say "globla name string is not defined"? I´m using... Zope 2.4.0 Python 2.1.1 Linux ZPoPyDa (Last Version? I´m not sure of this) I need the Help. Every comments can help me. Thanks. I just recently ran into the same issue... You can create a Python script in the methods directory of your zclass that sets the default catalog to a different ID... Example: # Example code: # Edit the property sheet and reindex. context.manage_editCataloger('TheNameOfYourCatalog') Hope this helps. ZCatalogAware: changing catalog name

Hi there, I used the Chapter about "Automatic Cataloging" as base for my own catalog-aware Product. It works as expected, if the ZCatalog has the Id 'Catalog', but doesn't work if I give it an other id (e.q. TestCatalog). Where do can I change the id used for the ZCatalog in my Product/ZClass? TIA Karsten

uncatchable 'Bad Request' exceptions ?

Zope 2.3.3, python 1.5.2. >From a python script I can't seem to catch a 'Bad Request' exception. This doesn't work: # script1 raise 'Bad Request', 'foo' # script2 try: context.script1() except 'Bad Request', x: return x return 'nothing' I get a Zope error: Error Type: Bad Request Error Value: foo But the following one works... # script1 raise 'bar', 'foo' # script2 try: context.script1() except 'bar', x: return x return 'nothing' And this one too... # script1 raise 'Bad Request', 'foo' # script2 try: context.script1() except: return 'something' return 'nothing' Anyone has an idea ?
