Re: [Zope] Two Pythons and PIL module newbie question..

Jim, I am sure you are right, but I am not of a mind to reinstall my whole system right now for the sake of making thumbnails.. :( Maybe in two months, when I have a little break in my (very busy) work schedule.. So, is there any way I can install PIL into the working Zope (binary) install, or use symbolic links to make Zope see the deb-installed PIL? (my working zope install was installed from the Linux binary, non-deb, that was available from zope.org) Thank you, Chris Jim Penny wrote: > > On Thu, Apr 12, 2001 at 02:26:46PM -0700, Chris Beaumont wrote: > > Hello, > > > > I'm sorry to ask such a dumbish newbie question.. > > > > I am using the Zope binary release on a Debian Linux system. Dangerous "cvs update"
by Dieter Maurer 12 Apr '01

12 Apr '01

My yesterday "cvs update" let my Zope fail to start: Panic - startup exception; type error in "ZServer/HTTPServer". I analysed the problem: Apparently "asyncore.py" has been moved. "cvs update" had correctly remove the Python source but (of course) left alone the corresponding "*.pyc" file. Somehow, this old "*.pyc" file caused the problem. After manual removal, my Zope works again. Dieter

servel yannick writes: > .... > self.uploadImage(obj=self.i.filename%d %(f) Hugh, what strange expression is that? It is parsed as (self.i.filename % d) % f What you probably want is getattr(self.i, 'filename%d' % f) Dieter

by tom smith 12 Apr '01

Hi, I've just been experimenting with ZUBB and would prefer it if messages were stored in folder called "messages". I assume I edit the "post" method. How do I, in DTML move an item from one folder to another? thanks tom

DHTML Menu ???
by pAuL Siew 12 Apr '01

12 Apr '01

Hi all, I am using dhtml + javascript to fit my navigation bar's coding. One of my menu is called Subject which its submenu is to list out the current logged in student's enrolled subject(e.g. 1.zope 2.asp, so on...), when user click on the sub menu - 1.zope , it'll redirect the user to the zope page, 2.asp to asp page, i've do a checking at the destination page to verify what var i've passed. The problem now was: i)how can i let system know which subject(var) i want to passed like what i do in html-drop-down-box by just include the line called <option value= SubjectCode> <dtml-var Subject> and that's all. Below is how my code ------------------------------------------------------------------------ <dtml-in listSubjectSql> dhtmlMenu.addItem(new NavBarMenuItem("<dtml-var SubjectCode>", "/user/admin/try")); <dtml-call "RESPONSE.setCookie('Subject2', SubjectCode)"> </dtml-in> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ output: Subject2 value = last value of Subject table(loops & stop at last value of the DB) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ <dtml-in listSubjectSql> var subject = new array(<dtml-var SubjectCode>) for (i=0; i<=subject.length; i++) { dhtmlMenu.addItem(new NavBarMenuItem("subject[i]", "/user/admin/try")); <dtml-call "RESPONSE.setCookie('SubjectCode', subject[i])"> } </dtml-in> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ output: coding error Please help me... thanks! :Þ _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.

RE: [Zope] IE 5.5 "Warning: Page has Expired"

This page is no longer > available. As Just in case the reason for this error isn't clear, it results if: a) the page you are trying to browse to was requested with method POST, not GET b) the page has expired from the browser cache These two factors make it impossible to correctly render the page. This is something that could be "fixed" in ZMI by redirecting to the edit page after every save. -Randy
