Try Ultraedit32 - its one of the best editors out theres for raw coding and text manipulation. It includes tag coloring and recognition for html, perl, c, vb, asp and other already - and the file 'wordlist.txt' it uses can be edited easily to add new tags or keywords, or to define whole new languages of tags and keywords. www.idmcomp.com ========================================= From: "Eric L. SiteAccess in 2.0.0b2?

I'm having trouble getting SiteAccess 2.0.0b2 to work with Zope 2.2.0b2. The first odd thing that happens is when I create a new SiteRoot, it says that this object already has a SiteRoot (which it doesn't), but creates it anyway. The second is: it doesn't seem to work at all! The value of URL1 still has the :9080 port and the wrong virtual server. Any ideas? - T.J.

Can not add Zope Tutorial with 2.2

I have been planning and may have time to start codeing soon a UI library. I have a question about the exact nature of the archetecture I am going to use. The UI is going to display in text and graphicaly on the consol, X and in a browser ie netscape. Oh and Berlin too. There is either going to be an accompining "window manager" or it will be integrated into the library. So my choices as I see it are. - Target other library sets such as OpenAmulet and wxWindows. Posibly even mixing tool kits within the same application OR consentrate on using ggi and make whole new widgits. - The library is going to focus on dynamic UI's as well as skinable interfaces even if I don't integrate the window manager the applications will be able to manage them selves so should I just make it part of the same library? - leave controll of the user interface with the application or break it off and make it part of an interface server which would contain the window manager functionality as well. permissions problem instantiating objects in 2.2b2?

Hi guys, I have a simple piece of code which instantiates an object in Zope 2.1.16, but when I try to run the same code in 2.2b{1,2} I get a dialog box stating that "authorization failed" and asks again for my password. I'm not sure if the API changed in 2.2 or if something's broken in either my code or the 2.2 tree...I'm more than open to suggestions. :) Here's what I'm trying to do: * Created a Product and dropped a ZClass into it, tweaked the constructor so it doesn't redirect when called from my code * Created a DTML method in a folder with reads as follows: <dtml-with "manage_addProduct['test']"> <dtml-call "testClass_add(_.None, _, NoRedir=1)"> </dtml-with> When I go to view that method, that's when i see the "authorization failed" stuff. Any ideas what's up? John
