Files are opaque and can not be edited. You should stuff it in a DTML document. One could argue that "files" that have text/* as their MIME type should be editable, but currently they're not. I have just been at www.zope.org and zdp.zope.org looking for tutorials on Zcatalog and ZClasses. I looked in Documentation, and found ZClasses, but couldn't find info on ZCatalog. Where is it? Thanks Antony

Extra folder with ZCatalog

I'm in ZCatalog now :) It's really cool... Well, one question - my catalog is at top - search and report in a search folder located at top When I search i make links like this <a href=""></a> The problem is that the link includes the '/search/' folder... I don't want it to appear in the link because of other methods.... zopes, I imported my stylesheet that is called with the <link> tag in all my documents. I intend to continue doing this, as AFAIK the browser can download one instance of the css document and use it for all further documents that refer to it. This is opposed to what I see at some Zoped sites, where style is an object that's included as a <STYLE > tag. I'd like to avoid this because it requires that the CSS be downloaded with each page. Anyway, why doesn't zope (v.2.0.0b5) let me edit the text of the CSS file? thanks, ~mindlace

hi, I sent this yesterday, does nobody have an idea, what's wrong ? I have a ZSQL-method insert in my root folder like this: insert into  (  ,  ) <snipp> also in my root-folder is a dtml-document which calls insert(REQUEST) this is my folder-structure: root insert (ZSQL-method) bearbeiten (dtml-document) kultur kino Event EinAusgabe (TinyTable) when I now call root/kultur/kino/Event/bearbeiten under 1.10.3 that correctly inserts my record. under 2.0.0b5 I get a keyerror EinAusgabe from the insert-method, I think it has something to do with difference of dtml-documents versus dtml-methods. I'd say the following would be an acceptable validation: * Verify that it has an '@' in it (! and % are VERY rare any more) * Verify that the TLD is valid (this requires a listing of all ISO country codes, plus org,net,com,int) This at least makes sure that it's somewhat "well formed" and captures 99% of the cases correctly.
