If it factors to ZAccountingConnections and ZAccountingMethods then I agree, Peachtree would be a good first choice for a ZAccountingConnection implementation. --Rob

I'm too lazy to do so ;) I agree that anything starting with <HTML> or other tags should be served as text/html, if it is not, then it is can probably called a mistake. OTOH, if your DTML produces just text, it will be quite hard to see if it is valid text for some charset or just binary data, so i guess ZPublisher determines that by checking for some non-ascii chars in it. I suspect that ZPublisher does this test _before_ testing for HTML and thus fails for valid non-ansi html. > Writing this code in standard_html_header or such may better, but still > dull and error-prone job. has_permission

Hi everybody! I still cannot make has_permission to work. What I want to do is check whether a file X has permission Y. In this example, I want to see if the file X, containing this code, is viewable by the user. What I have been told I should do (thanks!) is using AUTHENTICATED_USER.has_permission, but I don't know what arguments I should pass. One is the permission, e.g. 'View', and the other one should be the file I guess, but how? None of my guesses work. Let's say the file is called 'test', why can't I do:  nor  ???????? Chinese Chars in Zope 2.0b1

I got some problems in running the "Hello Tutorial" under FreeBSD 3.2 and Mandrake Linux 6.0. When I enter the following link with Chinese chars into Netscape(Win95)'s ulr: http://192.168.1.19:8080/Hello/sayHello?username=TurboLinux+3.0.2+%D6%D0%CE… It pops up a "save as windows". But it works fine in www.zope.org. http://www.zope.org/Community/InvestorsCorner/Samples/Hello/sayHello?userna… It seems something wrong with the Python 1.5.2, may be missing some modules, but I don't know how to fix it. How should file uploading be accomplished in zope? I mean I need to create a special form so that users could upload files to some zope folder.

You didn't say you got errors! =). If they are ina subfolder, you can't directly see them, no.
