Now all we need is an XSL processor so we can transform XML documents to HTML etc. on the fly. Formatting DateTime values with ZOPE.

Hi! I've discovered after some time fooling around, that the following works to generate a european date format: <dtml-with ZopeTime><dtml-var %d.%m.%Y></dtml-with> What I'm curious about is, that <dtml-var "_.getattr(ZopeTime,'%d.%m.%Y')"> generates an AttributeError. How to connect to Sybase using ZSybaseDA

Hi I managed to compile the ZSybaseDA under Redhat 5.1. Now I need help to connect to the database. Zope is running on the same machine as Sybase ASE. Could someone please tell me the format for the Database Connection String? Thanks Austin

ZClass-ZCatalog interaction bugs

[just posted to Collector] ZClass-ZCatalog interaction bugs? (2.0 beta 1) 1) In the ZCatalog "Find Items to Catalog" tab, if you select the ZClass superclass from types, ZClass sub-classes are not found (if you don't choose their types or 'all types' specifically. If you select the sub-class specifically, they are found. Seems like one should be able to just select the superclass and have all the sub-class instances be found. 2) In the ZCatalog "Cataloged Objects" tab, the hotlinks are to manage_main, but for ZClasses, there is no manage_main by default, only a manage_access. I've installed the Win32 2.0.0b1, and now find that *all* my Zsql queries where dates are returned using the ODBC adapter, now fail. manage_workspace redirects to index_html! EMERGENCY!

(Posted to the Collector! Could somebody deal with this, very fast like?) After editing some permission properties, my database has gone mad! The left-hand frame of the management interface views all right. The right-hand frame does not. When I click on the root node, instead of manage_workspace I am redirected to manage_propertiesForm. On any arbitrary folder, manage_workspace is redirected to index_html (acquired or actual). Hi! I've been wondering how one can format with the var tag a date value as DD.MM.YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY? Andreas -- Win95: n., A huge annoying boot virus that causes random spontaneous system crashes, usually just before saving a massive project. Easily cured by UNIX. URGENT: need very basic help with Zope2 persistence

Hi, I'm using Zope2 and am trying to get Persistence working for the first time by creating an object store. I'm using the documentation: http://www.zope.org/Documentation/Reference/ObjectPublishingIntro which has a chunk of code to do a very basic store on a Person. I've tried this code both within and without Zope with no success. I'm wondering whether 1. The code (appended) doesn't work for Zope2? When ExternalMethod->Add'ed into Zope, I get: Zope Error Zope has encountered an error while publishing this resource. exceptions.AttributeError Sorry, a Zope error occurred.
