Dear all I don't know if this is right to send a silly question to this list, but I couldn't find any proper place anywhere else. I have recently installed Zope and zserver. I have already developed a complete web site based on Python and Postgresql, Apache. However maintenance might become the bottleneck for me as I am the only one who manages it. I want to redo the whole thing in Zope. I wonder if you can show any light / comments on this. Also can somebody PLEASE give me a clue, where I can find a tutorial on how to use zope and what are the steps. I am really struggling to develop any thing. A beginners tutorial would be great. Check out Microsoft's Advanced Streaming Format (ASF). It supports anything from audio to video to PowerPoint files. Microsoft includes a real-time encoder with their free streaming tools. Download it from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/. For information on serving live/on-demand content, check out http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/host.asp. [What's this subject line to do with your question?] Sounds like an ideal use of TinyTables if there ever was one. I think performance will be excellent. The alternative, which is likely slightly faster but not quite as elegant in terms of object-orientational succinctness and flexibility, is to write an External Method which returns a Python dictionary of the values you need. Not having the SQL92 spec at hand, I can only guess that this syntax is a proprietary extension to SQL, much like SQL Server 7.0's contains() predicate*. Whatever suits your application, really, but if you're thinking about portability, "like" is the way to go. [*] a rather useful construct for fuzzy full-text searching.
