I need to let customers 1) upload a replacement for an image that already exists in the zope tree 2) upload a new image which was not already in the zope tree, and add it to the "images" folder How can I do this? I do not want to simply give the customer write-access to the images folder as this would be both too complex for them, and too insecure. using 'tree' from a 'lines' property.

Hi all, I'd like to be able to use #tree to create a table of contents of the following form, but as I'm not massively familiar with #trees yet, I'd like to know what I'm letting myself in for... If I have a property, type 'lines', called ToC which is like Guide, 1, 101 Cell Biology, 1, 102 Introduction, 2, 216 Item 1, 3, 301 Item 2, 3, 330 ... ZTemplates without Zope

Hello! I am trying to rewrite some of my CGIs using ZTemplates, no Zope yet. I want to clarify some points I do not understand clear. Any help welcome. Think I will write a DTML file, and there is the tag  As far as I understand, there is no way for DTML to place standard_html_header into a file - aquiring and rendering IDs is a job of Zope, not ZTemplates, right? What method I can use? Do I need to create few instances of DocumentTemplate.HTMLfile and call them with different files/objects? Any simpler way? I was just having a problem with this myself and this solution worked like a charm. Thank you! I'm still left with a question, though: How would you go about using sequence-item, etc. in a python expression? Python sees it as 'sequence minus item' and I get a 'Name Error: sequence' exception. I was wanting to do something like this: <table>  <tr> <td></tr> <td></td> </tr>  </table> Which seems natural to me but, of course, doesn't work. I have the feeling that I might need this in something like Ouch! someday. I've read the DTML manual several times but have I missed something here? ??? Again, Thank You! Try using your trick of modifying the URL to add a DTML method, then try and edit that method putting:  into it. I'm curious about some of the values that the server passes into Zope. If you can't add a DTML document because of this bug, you can use this supreme piece of trickery: First, shut down Zope, then cd to the [Zopedir]/lib/python directory. Building Zope on BSDI

Has anyone built Zope on a BSDI machine? BSDI doesn't support shared libraries, so everything has to be statically compiled into python. I just got it to build (python w_pcgi.py finished), but there doesn't seem to be a new python binary anywhere with everything compiled in. To get it to compile, I went through and deleted all the '*shared*' from the 'Setup' files. Any tips? As a side note, I was planning on using the binary porting kit to get it built, then contributing this back to the community. But the porting kit is still Zope-1.9. Is there any plans to update the porting kit. Building dtml objects now...

Im finally starting to build some DTML objects for Dreamweaver, and I wondered if folks could tell me what their "wish - list" might be for this. For example for the VAR tag, do you really want to have to specify all those attributes or should there be a secondary simpler object that just inserts a  Someday when/if dreamweaver get's webdav savvy Ill have the var object obtain a list of all available variables at that level and allow you to just "choose" one.
