Trying : select * from mytable <sqltest mylist multiple type=int column=id> did not work, it generates a ProgrammingError - Module Shared.DC.ZRDB.DA, line 374, in __call__ - Module Products.ZMySQLDA.db, line 273, in query ProgrammingError: (1064, "You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '<sqltest mylist multiple type=int column=id> LIMIT 1000'") My problem was that I tried to test my Z SQL method through the ZMI, testing with a python script worked fine with the following Z SQL method : SELECT * FROM MyTable <dtml-sqlgroup where> <dtml-sqltest mylist column=id type=int multiple> </dtml-sqlgroup> I also modified the "mylist" parameter declaration to specify that it is a list of integers which is set to none if no parameter is passed. liste:list:int=none Thanks for your reply

nginx proxy zope/webdav, can't see files

hi, i´m trying to connect davfs to zope/webdav by way of nginx. this works fine (once davfs is configured correctly) conecting directly (that is w/out nginx in the middle). with nginx in the middle i can not see the files. that is "ls /davfs/mout/point" shows an empty folder. i can upload to that folder, if i mount directly to a folder where my user has permissions. but can´t see the files there. the folder is not empty. again, i can list the files using davfs without nginx as. on the nginx list i was told that the probem was most likely due to path formation. here is the client request, responces from nginx and zope and the configuration of nginx vhost. hopefully someone on this list can shed some light on the issue. > Probably, the problem is that in nginx case you use "PROPFIND /dav/nomndaa1/" > while server responses to "PROPFIND /nomndaa1/" or "PROPFIND /plune/nomndaa1/" > (according previously posted configuration). sorting ids in python

Can anyone help me sort the following by id in a python script? for object in context.objectValues(['Folder', 'DTML Document','ZipFolder','File','Image']): Import of sequence is not authorised in my python scripts, I am presuming (probably wrongly) that sequence is needed for sort. Regards Garry

Multiple zope instances using the same storage

I have an unusual setup. I have 4 distinct Zope instances (4 seperate Data.fs'). Each Data.fs is identical - Data is kept in a RDBMS. I have a product I need to install that stores data in the ZODB. This data is stored in one folder. Now, I *think* I can simply mount this folder in each ZODB and serve the storage through a ZEO server - however I've never done this setup, so I want to make sure this makes sense and I'm not overlooking potential problems. This is a legacy setup that I'm not responsible for, so I'm trying to keep my footprint in this setup as small as possible. Using Zope 2.7.9. Thanks, Mark

pb with attach file

Hello, Few months ago, I send my problem with attach file with Zope 2.6 and higher. How I have no solution, I send again my problem which is described after -------- Thanks to help me Frederique --------------- I have created a zclass with zfile as basic class. With this class, users could, via a web form, send an attached file if they want. With zope 2.5 (my previous version) if users don't attach a file, there is no problem with zope 2.10, if there is no file attached, I have an error message : 'file not specified". It seems that attach file is mandatory. generic setup&workflow: how to add to binding??

Guestbook example app stops working

Hi, I'm looking at the idea of using Zope again (a lot seems to have changed..) I'm using Zope 2.11.1, and whilst trying to remind myself of the basic machinery of Zope, I imported the Example apps, and started to fiddle around with the Guestbook example. However, after saving the index_html object of the Guestbook, Zope would no longer find any entries to display. To check it was simply the act of saving index_html that broke the Guestbook, I deleted the Examples folder and re-imported it. With a fresh Examples folder Guestbook worked; simply saving it (without even typing in the textarea) would break the Guestbook. On initial import it shows a single Guestbook entry by "Amos", but after saving index_html, it reports that the Guestbook is empty. No changes were made to the 'getEntries' script, and the Entries folder still has the entry by "Amos". I can't see any reason why that would be, and hoped someone else could explain what the problem is.
