One letter search in ZCatalog

I apoligize in advance if this is a simple problem that has been addressed previously, I have looked through the archives with no luck. I put together a ZCatalog Search (PrincipiaSearchSource), I thought it was working fine, then I noticed that if I do a search for a single character (standard alphanumeric) it returns: Error Type: IndexError Error Value: list index out of range This will not do. I need a simple solution to make this error not occur, either make the Search search for these single characters, or give the user a message saying their search must include more characters. It's quite a hassle to get more things installed on this Zope server, so if there is a solution with just the basic Zope 2.6 install that would be preferable. Export Error

Hi, I get an error when trying to export a folder. I would appreciate any hints on how to fix this. When doing a standard export the error is: Error unpickling, ((U&Products.MigrationMgr.dbTableAttributeqU... When I attempt to export using the XML format option I get the following error: An error was encountered while publishing this resource. Error Type: AttributeError Error Value: List instance has no attribute 'extend' Troubleshooting Suggestions * The URL may be incorrect. * The parameters passed to this resource may be incorrect. * A resource that this resource relies on may be encountering an error. TextIndexNG Similar search HELP!!!

I am trying to do a SQL LIKE query on a lastname attribute of a zclass. ie. show me all the lastnames LIKE 'cronkyte' should return cronkite... I am trying to use TextIndexNG to do this. I need to get the Similarity search part of TextIndexNG working. I can create a working TextIndexNG using the Zope management interface, this index will return EXACT matches, but not similar ones. However the ZMI does not appear to have a way to activate the Similarity search. How do I use the Similarity search in a query? Experimenting a bit further, it doesn't appear to be Windows-only. I have a text editor that saves Unix linefeeds (\n) by default. I still get the problem using that. SO this needs to happen. However, neither the attribute value nor Python would care if there were line feeds in the example locations or not - as long as they were real line feeds and not escape characters, anyway. If the TAL expressions were truly XML, and one wanted line breaks, they ought to read like this - "python:test( no_types == 1
