NEWBIE HELP! Zope remote access!

Greetings, I am trying to setup zope with so that all users can access the DTML web page. When I try to access Zope using Netscape with the URL: 159.121.148.XX:9673/manage. I get a time out error. If I access zope locally it works. What am I doing wrong? Also, Im not sure if I am running zopeHTTPS or Apache 1.3.1 . When I installed Zope I moved the PCGI file to the CGI-BIN directory as instructed. But I must run the ./start file in the zope directory to see the Zope screen. Does this tell me that I am running the Zope HTTPS? The ps -aux command does not show that ZHTTPS process is running. Where in the documentation does it show how to setup for production? Zope 10.2.1-linux2 Apache 1.3.1 MySQL 3.22.22-1 Python 1.5.1

Problem with TinyTables under 1.11pr?

Hi, I wanted to start messing with ZServer, so I downloaded the pre-release of 1.11, installed it, copied all the stuff I needed from 1.10 using "cp -Ru zope-old/* zope-new/*" started the new ZopeHTTPServer just to check things out, andwas tremendously chagrinned to find out that the two tiny tables in my app showed up as broken. I went and checked the permissions, etc, and couldn't find any problems, the rest of my site including the ZMySQLDA (which initially caused me no end of grief) were all working. What am I missing here? processing forms

I have a form with 50 or less items on it. The names of the form variables are taken from the result of a database query. In the examples I've seen, the target document already knows the names of the variables, which in some examples are properties of the parent folder. How would a document process a form when it doesn't know the names of the variables. If you just look a method up by name (assuming no arguments) like  and that method returns a sequence, the name 'blah' is actually turned *into* a sequence from a method. If you said:   You would get an error that 'blah' has no __call__ method, because it was turned into a sequence by being called by name. This is a feature, so that expensive methods can be cached. If you don't want this method cached (say it has some sort of side effect that changes itself, or is based on time, or some other craziness) then allways use quotes around it, and a) it won't be chached and b) it won't be transmutated into a sequence. Obviously, if your method requires arguments, 99% of the time your not going to want the cache the results, so calling methods with arguments requires using the expression machinery. The rule of thumb is, be consistent.
