Can ZCatalog index lines properties?

Has anyone been successful in getting ZCatalog to index a lines property in an object (ZClass or DTML Document)? If so, how did you do it? Thanks. Chris

Just a note that Digital Creations has a commercial add-on, Zope Enterprise Option (ZEO) which implements a ZODB client/server arrangement, with arbitrary number of clients. Since the clients have their own object caches (which are coordinated with that of the server, inherently maintaining correct synchronization), the multiple access tends to gain significant performance benefits as well as, well, multiple access. (ZEO is not free, however - congruent to the notion that most people that need it would be doing large-scale commercial type stuff, and would be in the position to pay. Heck, _eager_ to pay.-) On rereading your note i'm not sure whether this addresses your item 5, replication/distribution. You didn't say why you wanted it - if it's multi-host access, then it does, but if it's some kind of robustness replication, then i imagine you could achieve that with actual replication of the database file (vie disk mirroring, periodic copies, whatever). changing standard colours

My almost finished site uses a standard colour scheme throughout. As part of the change to using dynamic .png images rather than .gifs I found that neither IE or Netscape seem to implement png transparency (alpha channel) correctly. I therefore needed to access the background colour of my pages. I found no obvious method of getting this. I implemented a standard_color dtml-method and modified the standard_header method to use it. It occurred to me that this could be more generally useful. Anyone implemented a better scheme, perhaps using TinyTable or is there some magical way to do this sort of thing. For the interested here're my methods. I use two page formats normal and nonstandard and in addition some pages don't have a body (no_body is defined) ie for setting up frames. Is it possible in the report method to preview the text of the page that fits the search??? Something like <dtml-var mytextsearched size=100> i suppose.
