I've got a nice (!) ArtClass, subclassed from ObjectManager. I'd like to create an instance of ArtClass that contains a few Images, then (eventually) delete the Images. I get the following: ! Hi, the problem I originally mentioned is more simple: Root = Zeilenfarbe | + - index_html | + - Folder1 = Zeilenfarbe | | | + - index_html | + - Folder2 | + - index_html Within index_html I use Zeilenfarbe to set the backgraound color of odd table rows: ... BGCOLOR="<dtml-var Zeilenfarbe>" ... What I expect is: - Root's index_html renders Root's Zeilenfarbe - Folder1's index_html renders Folder1's Zeilenfarbe - Folder2's index_html renders Root's Zeilenfarbe BUT: Folder1's index_html renders Root's Zeilenfarbe. If I drop Root's Zeilenfarbe Folder1's index_html will render it's own Zeilenfarbe (and Root's and Folder2's index_html will raise errors). Andreas

Acquisition problem

Zeilenfarbe is used to set the background color of odd rows in tables. When I assign a property with the same name (and other content) to a subfolder the rows are colored with the color defined at top level. If I remove the property at top level I will get the expected row colors. So what is wrong here? Try this: SQL Method: ----------- Name: itemquery Arguments: parentID Query: SELECT item.itemid FROM item WHERE <dtml-sqltest parentID type=int>; ----------- DTML Method: ------------ ...stuff <dtml-let ItemID="-1"> <dtml-tree id=ItemID branches_expr="itemquery (parentID=ItemID)"> <a><dtml-var ItemID>:  <dtml-var name></a> <br> </dtml-tree> </dtml-let> ...more stuff ------------ It looks like your SQL-Query is where the problem is: where parentID=<dtml-var parentID> when called by the dtml-method is basically going to be where parentid=parentid which is a circular reference. If you change the sql statement to the one above, then sql- method will evaluate out to: where parentid=item which is what you want. Hope this helps. Users sources for LoginManager

Hello Zopistas. Does anybody use LoginManager product in Zope v.2.1.6? I was looking around a bit but still can't understand how to use Generic User or Folder Persistent User Source? What difference is between Generic and Persistent sources? Also I'm wondered where can i get Zope 2.2 which is often mentioned in documentation. Thanks in advance. -- All my best, Sergey.

I set up Squid as an HTTP accel in front of Zope. I ran ab 100 times with a concurreny of 10 on the same machine Zope and Squid were running on. Squid is 10 times as fast as plain Zope.
