AUTHENTICATED_USER.getUserName() not always truthful in ZWiki

I am using ZWiki and have modified a footer to show the current AUTHENTICATED_USER. It lies - occasionally but consistently. I am logged in as TestUser, and have a page footer that shows me as TestUser. I create a new ZWiki page by editing the current page and adding NewPage, then navigating to the new NewPage. This now shows me as Anonymous User. When I press the edit button I am still Anonymous User. When I save I am still Anonymous User. When I press the edit button it shows me as TestUser again. When I save I am back to Anonymous User. How can I be both TestUser and Anonymous User in the same session? Something to do with namespaces, no doubt, but what's going on? Anyone, please? Ivan... Hi, It's a "grassroots" effort. Jonothan Farr (jfarr(a)real.com) is heading up the project, and I'm helping. We've gotten a few prototype versions up and running using MySQL and Interbase, but I'd say we're a few weeks away from being able to release an alpha. Greetings, I am looking for ways to use a relational database (Solid, and possibly Informix) as a storage for ZODB objects. According to the ZODB How-To, development on a relational DB storage manager is taking place. However, I don't know what is the current state of this project, how I can obtain the source code, and how I can contact the developers. Perhaps someone can provide me with this information? It's far from perfect now. It's quite nice. But perfect, no. There are *lots* of smart Perl people, and personally I look forward to seeing some of them join the community. It'll give more exposure to Zope. Maybe it'll give more exposure to Python, even. To me, the "dont even talk to me about Perl" attitude smacks of illogic and unearned elitism. It's silly and immature.

Relational DB Storage Manager for ZODB

Greetings, I am interested in using a relational database (Solid, and possibly Informix) for ZODB object storage. I read the ZODB How-To, according to which development on a relational DB storage manager is taking place. However, I don't know what is the current state of this project, where I can get a copy of the source, and how I can contact its developers. Perhaps someone can provide me with this information? Properties

Is there any way to manipualte properties outside of the Zope management area? I have a lot of properties I need to add to a certain document and it's really time consuming to enter then one by one. Also, Is there any way to arrange the order of properties? For instance, I've added a bunch called story 1a through story1z, and story1r is misspelled as "stry1r". Currently, it seems to keep them in order I have to delete all the properties after the 1r property and enter them all again. Thanks. Wow!!! ZScheduler sounds perfect! I'm assuming that it is the one that doesn't work. What is involved to make it work? With my limited knowledge of both Python and Zope, I don't know that I could be much help. Simple Directory of URLs

I use your product called Simple Directory of URLs. (http://www.zope.org/Members/Roug/SimpleURLs) The thing is that I want to query for one more item other that Title, URL, Description and Section. I want to be able to add for example "Contact email" and "Alt. URL" and maybe more later. I don't know much at all about ZCatalogs, but I guess that one can simply add another field to the NewEntry object, (??) since all fields are sent to a object called CreateEntry and the code does not depend on form-field-names. I experimented a bit with the HTML but my harmless changes does not appear! even after restart.
