Dynamic sorting key?

Hi All, here's the question, the following piece of DTML code is intended to sort a listing of DTML documents in a folder. <dtml-in expr="PARENTS[0].objectValues(['DTML Document'])" sort=title size=15 start=qs> note that "sort=title", however I would like to sort on different key by different paramenter... something like "... sort=REQUEST['sort_by'] ..." (doesn't work) where sort_by from URL parameter maybe "id", "title", "getSize" or "bobobase_modification_time", etc... I've search all over zope.org about "sorting" but could not find a working way. HOW?? Thanks...

I replace ZCatalog with the old version but it made no difference. Another point is that the icon for ZCatalog in the control_panel is different. Its like the other product icons but ontop of a folder icon. Problems reverting from Zope 2.2

After installing 2.2b1 and finding it doesn't work well enough yet I tried to revert back to 1.1.7 This seemed to work ok except somethings are broken in the control_panel. MailHost and ZCatalog can't be accessed Clicking on them in the control_panel results in a resource not found error. This is ok except I can't delete other product which rely on these products. How do I get out of this mess?

I looked at it, and found it fishy. The strange thing is, I tried to reproduce it, but I can't. To be sure I added a tiny table plus to an instance not a straight tiny table and a ZODBC adapter, but I doubt whether this would make a difference. Anyway, they both work straight away. This is getting very strange indeed. It seems strange things are happening to your namespace. I can think of some things that may cause problems, but this is all speculation. This may be a bug, but then it's a special one. Anything special about your ZClass - what does it derive from (just objectmanager? anything else that might cause strange behaviour?). Is there a subobjects tab in it's definition? Are the products in there? Rik

When you want to use Zope at the ISP, it must be installed there. Looking into folders

Hi, zopistas I need to query if one folder has sub-folders in it or not. The query must be into an <dtml-tree> tag. You must call it: <dtml-var "GuideFile.bobobase_modification_time()"> You can resolve problems like this (no output) by looking at the source of the HTML document. Select Box Problem

I have a form that pulls back previous order information from a customer. This form has a select box for with a list of customers in the database so that a user can easily select who made the order. Everything in this form works fine except for the select box. The select box shows the option at the top of the list everytime. This is not what I am looking for however, I need the select box to reflect what the customer that placed the order. I could easily do this with the select except for the fact that the select information is dynamically filled by a query. The following code is used. <select name="customerid"><dtml-in custcompanysearch><option value=<dtml-var customerid>><dtml-var firstname> <dtml-var lastname></dtml-in></select> The entire form is in a <dtml-in> that has a customerid value. I would like to have the current customer show up in this box. dtml-sendmail tag that worked in 2.1.6 appears broken in 2.1.7

Hello, I have a site that contains the following tag: <dtml-sendmail smtphost="localhost" mailto="zope" mailfrom="EMAIL_REQUEST(a)SITE.COM" subject="SITE.COM EMAIL"> ... </dtml-sendmail> This worked fine when my server was running Zope 2.1.6. After upgrading to 2.1.7, I get the following error: Error Type: TypeError Error Value: unexpected keyword argument: localHost I've made an attempt to revert to 2.1.6 to resolve this problem. However, I noticed that I was unable to successfully pack the database after moving all the data files from the 2.1.7 tree to the 2.1.6 tree. Has anyone seen/resolved this problem? Any help is greatly appreciated. -Mark
