Zope.org search bug -- can't search for "book"

I'm getting a System Unavailable message when I do a Zope.org search for the keyword "book". However, a search for anything else, i.e. "bookworm", works fine. Any ideas? SiteIndex ! Bug in DT_In.py, still using collector? Here's a patch

In Zope 2.2.0 If you have a bug in your DTML in a <dtml-in xx next> block, you don't see the bug. DT_In assumes that you just don't have more records to see. Ahhhh... I see. Thanks. Well, instead of calling execfile() (or exec()), make the PythonMethods for google and altavista, etc. part of your Product. Then replace the call to execfile with a call to the PythonMethod, eg. methods = [self.googlepythonmethod, self.altavistapythonmethod] for method in methods: count = count + 1 # whatever security stuff you're talking about... method() Does this make sense? Referring to objects with an integer as id?

How do I refer to an object that has an integer as id? I have pdf-files stored in a folder called "pdf". Now I want to be able to check their filesize. I looked in the API and found that this is done with getSize(self). I have no problem to refer to objects that do not have an integer as id. For example for the pdf-file with id "temppdf" this works: <dtml-var "pdf.testpdf.getSize()"> I have tried a number of different syntaxes to be able to check the filesize of an objct with an integer as id but nothing has worked For the pdf-file with id "11111111" I have tried this: <dtml-var "pdf.11111111.getSize()"> (gives me syntax error) <dtml-var "pdf.[11111111].getSize()"> (gives me syntax error) <dtml-var "pdf.['11111111'].getSize()"> (gives me syntax error) <dtml-var "pdf._['11111111'].getSize()"> (says I am unauthorized but I am sure I am not because I could access the same object if I gave it a string as id instead of an integer. I am the owner of both the object and folder and I have all privilages. Superuser wasnt authorized either.) <dtml-var "pdf._[11111111].getSize()"> (also says I am unauthorized) I have also tried all those combinations with _len() but that doesnt work either... Could someone please tell me how I can get the filesize of my objects with integers as their id?

General Full Text Search Questions

Hi, I have some general Full text search questions, hope someone can help me: 1)How can I use ZCatalogue to do full text search on static html pages? In Zcatalogue examples I could find search for properties like Title, I would like to have the whole text content of a static html searched. 2)Providing that the previous question was answered, how can I do the same for HTML pages referenced by LocalFS? 3)Can I combine LocalFS and Yihaw??? How? 4)How can I use Zope to generate static html pages stored outside Zope? Any help will be very apreciated! permissions and ODBC

I use zope 2.2.0 and ZODBC-3.1.0b2. I get a strange behavior with ODBC access and permissions. To keep it simple, I have an ODBC-Connection and a SQL-Method. When I execute the SQL-Method everything works fine. When I call the same method from within an DTML-document I get asked for a password and whatever I try (even the super user), nothing works. I configured proxies, no success. What is wrong, maybe zope version and the ZODBC version do not like each other? Anyone an idea? Jens

You can then tell to have Zope automatically started as a service. To stop and restart the service later on, go into the "Administrative tools". You will there have an application called "Services". In that app, scroll down and click once on the one called "Zope (name of your site)". Simply go there to start and stop your service.
