What am I missing? I failed to reproduce this in my Zope CVS. It is puzzling indeed! Does "SESSION['info']" has a key "num" or do you expect to access the "num" passed as parameter? In this case, it might have something to do with permissions, as Zope sometimes turns insufficient permissions into KeyError. However, I expect your "SESSION['info']" is a standard dictionary and then access should by unprotected. Dieter

problem with ZUBB / no topic set

Hello, after installing ZUBB (ZDiscussions 0.6. right?) everything works fine with the single exception that the topic of no message gets set. That means, after posting, all messages show "(no subject)". The message preview HTML source still shows the correct value in the hidden input form tag named "title". Could the problem be a clash between the "title" form entry and the title of another Zope object? I am using ZDiscussions-0.6 and Zope 2.3.0. thanks --Oliver

Trying to Upload a File

Hi there, I have got a litte problem with a Z SQL Method "sql_example": select count(*) as result from example_DB I want to put the returned result in a variable: <dtml-in sql_example> <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('my_var', result)"> </dtml-in> This works fine.But should something like <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('my_var', ['sql_example'])"> work, too? Hmmm, as far as the ZCatalog part; I know that at some point it was only working iwth 7 bit ascii characters, then someone put a patch in so that it supported Latin-1 (ISO-8859-1) in the vocabularies... I don't know when (or if) that was ever integrated into the zope core, but I'm sure that if you search Zope.org for Latin-1 you should find it... Updating a page or propertie from a Mac will cause the same problem for Windows users, because Zope doesn't convert the extended characters to the web-friendly format when properties are added. I'd also like to search in Zcatalog using these extended characters, ie. "Effects of El Niño", from any platform. Is there a workaround for this situation? Ausum p.d I'm sure that european Zopists have already faced this problem and probably found a solution. Problem of performance

Hi, It's strange, I thought I was rid of it, but it seems to pop-up now and then. I'm talking of a slow performance of Zope2.2.x Here is the problem: When I'm working in Zope, the following happens sometimes : eg. I copy an object and then try to paste it. The pasting can take minutes, or the interface just keeps trying to load the page. Now, when I stop the loading of the page (when it seems to be hanging) and reload the page, I see the copied object. So, it looks like Zope has problems to display the page. I've Zope installed on Mandrake and the problem occures on Netscape (Linux) as IE5.0 windows. Somebody an idea what may be the cause of this? Did something changed in the code related to this? Thanks in advance, Tom.
