Hello, I was trying the following dtml-method (just from the book) in my Zope 2.3.0 Windows NT installation <dtml-var standard_html_header> <dtml-let person="'Bob'"> <dtml-var person> <dtml-var standard_html_footer> And when i pushed the save changes button, i got this: "No closing tag, for tag <dtml-let person="'Bob'">, on line 2 of nog" (nog is my method). Best way to upgrade an existing Zope installation?

Hi there Maybe this has been answered a million times, but I can't find it. What is (generally) the best way to upgrade an existing Zope installation? (Including products, etc.) Must I export/import everthing, can I just copy the data.fs file or install the new Zope right over the old one (and then recopying the data file)? How can a document know its own URL?

Can anyone tell me how to use DTML to get at the URL for the document being displayed? I want to display the URL of the document being displayed inside of the document being displayed. Something like: <b> You are now viewing the following URL: <dtml-var Some_DTML_var> </b> Similar to the <dtml-var title_or_id> var, but for the whole URL not just the documents name or title... Rewriting al a mod_rewrite in apache?

I'm looking for a feature like mod_rewrite-module in apache. Concret: transforming all path-components of the http-requests to lowercase. Is SiteAccess an idea, I couldn't find examples or documenation for that? Hi Folks, I'm not sure if this is strictly on topic here; if not perhaps someone could point me in the right direction. First up, congratulations to everyone involved in the new release - I love your work, you make mine so damn easy :) Basically I'm looking for several Zope developers in Melbourne, Australia. The project involves the development of an online publishing system allowing authors anywhere to get works published into print and digital media. Getting https://..... pages to redirect to Zope

I can't get my buy page to work on Etailer I'm not sure if it the rewrite rules in apache or the ssl setup. It seems that the https:// request doesn't get converted to call Zope When it tries to access https://192.168.0.102/Kayak/kl/buy from the browser, I get page not found. The apache error log says "File does not exist: /usr/local/httpd/htdocs/Kayak/kl/buy I can change the Document root section in the ssl virtual host, and the error remains the same (but the path changes). The accesslog says "POST /Kayak/kl/checkOut HTTP/1.1" <--- this worked (http) "POST /Kayak/kl/buy HTTP/1.1" <-- this didn't (https) The end of the httpd.conf file is: #-------------------- RewriteLog "/var/log/httpd/rewrite_log" RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^/static/(.*) /usr/local/httpd/htdocs/$1 [L] RewriteRule ^/cgi-bin/(.*) /usr/local/httpd/cgi-bin/$1 \ [e=HTTP_CGI_AUTHORIZATION:%1,t=application/x-httpd-cgi,L] RewriteCond %{HTTP:Authorization} ^(.*) RewriteRule ^/(.*) /usr/local/httpd/zope-cgi-bin/Zope.cgi/$1 \ [e=HTTP_CGI_AUTHORIZATION:%1,t=application/x-httpd-cgi,L] #----------------------------- Interestingly when I access https://192.168.0.102/ I get the old static web pages, so I think the rewrite rule isn't hitting the https accesses. Did I miss some major change in Z SQL Methods ?

Green things, I have a few methods poking about that just don't seem to make sense.... A Z SQL Method ( Returner.sql.getDetails ) which simply contains: SELECT * FROM Returner WHERE ReturnerID=<dtml-sqlvar User type="int"> Which returns everything as expected. The I have a Python Method which refers to it, simply wrapping it up, and taking the first (of what should be only one anyway) element. It contains the following: ( Returner.getDetails(self, User) ) return self.sql.getDetails(User=User)[0] Now.. for some reason, the following throws complaints about not being able to find ANY of the fields in the row: <dtml-with "Returner.getDetails(Returner, User=12)"> <dtml-var fieldName> </dtml-with> Now, previously I've accessed my ZSQL Methods directly from DTML, but this time I was trying to abstract slightly, for various reasons...
