Using ZCatalog for Outside Content

I'd like to use ZCatalog to catalog websites stored outside of Zope. I have seen a few passing references to this being a feature of ZCatalog, but no documentation on the subject. Has anyone used ZCatalog in this manner? Any tips on how to accomplish this? Thanks in advance, Aaron Gillette

Yet another Newbie tree question!

Apologies if this question has been previously addressed - I've the searched lists but I'm not absolutely certain that I'm looking in the right places! I want to exclude certain objects (folders or documents) from a tree display. All of my objects have a Boolean property 'visible'. I only wish to display those objects where visible = true. My best attempt so far was to suppress the object title - but the '+/-' icon was still displayed. I've also been trying to use a branches method - something like: <dtml-if visible"> <dtml-return "objectValues(['DTML Document','Folder']) "> </dtml-if> Any help would be much appreciated...... can't deal with import error

Hi, I still can't get past the import errors of the form : Error Type: ImportError Error Value: import of "argv" from "sys" is unauthorized I have tried looking at External methods, adding products and setting security properties, all of which make not effect please offer some advise tks Phill

Line 908 of DocumentClass.py still reads: return (StructuredTextInnerLink(s[start2+1,end2-1],start2,end2)) it should be: return (StructuredTextInnerLink(s[start2+1:end2-1],start2,end2)) note the colon in [start2+1:end2-1] Robert

Where are MySQL Driver and Adaptor Binaries for Windows?

Can anyone help me either build the MySQL database driver or just find the binaries? I get an error trying to build the database driver on my Win XP box. Gives me an error that it cannot find cl.exe. Your help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

dtml-tree very slow

Hello everybody, I´m using the dtml-tree to generate a mailinglist tree out of a postgres database. Is it possible that it takes nearly one second per tree entry to display ? Is there a trick to increase speed ? I´m using Zope 2.3.2 and Postgres 7.1 with psycopg 0.96 Thaks in advance Florian Schuler
