How to change <dtml-tree> starting(root) folder ?

Hello society !:-) Lots of thanx for all previous advices. Another question: My DTML document, containing <dtml-tree> tag persists in ZClass. I create an instance of the class in some folder. Now if I call that document, I don't see any tree at all, but I'd love to see the tree based on the folder, instance of ZClass is created in. Does anybody have an idea related to this ? I'd appreciate a couple. Thanx in advance, Anton.

"Add EW Nav Links" is the permission that you want to test for. But the "Unauthorized" exception is already raised when the catalogued object is looked up. I do not know precisely, how "resolve_url" works. Maybe, it checks access rights on its way down to the object. I think, "verify_watermark" should protect against tampering with the authentication information in the REQUEST object, e.g. call an object with a REQUEST-like object that is not the request at all. I do not know, why the protection is activated in your system. I had is once when I reloaded the ZPublisher.HTTPRequest module. But, of course, that is not your problem. If you are under some pressure, you could disable the test "User.py:711" until you found the reason for this strange behaviour. Be careful, however, you open up security risks. Dieter

Therapy or not, I spoke too soon. I did manage to get a time in as part of the title. Unfortunately, the time that I got was ZopeTime(). What I want to get in is the time (really a date) set by the user. This date is taken in as input from the form page, it is then sent to a DTML Method that then calls the Python script. As I mentioned before, the parameter in question is "contact_date". If I try to set myTitle = '%d' % contact_date then I get an error. However, if I try to set myTitle = '%d' % report_title then I don't get an error. The report_title parameter was set in the DTML Method that was called by the HTML form. that code is <dtml-let report_title="ZopeTime()"> Unfortunately, if I set <dtml-let report_title=contact_date> I get an error. Note, the </dtml-let> is AFTER the call to the python script. Is there something I'm missing? Otherwise, your statement is strange. What object type contains the "dtml-in" (a DTML Method or Document)? What happens precisely: you do not get any content? If you use the code above, then the "in" body is empty, thus, you won't see something. But I assume, this is just a typo and not your real problem. Try to add a "&dtml-parameter;" before the "in". It will show you the object type, "parameter" is bound to. Maybe, you get an unexpected "parameter". Dieter
