Problems with ZNavigator

i would like to create a new instance of a ZNavigator product folder in the case of "infobar" is an existing instance from ZNavigator i can use the following and it works fine <dtml-with infobar> <dtml-call "manage_addNavigator(id='infobar',title=REQUEST.id,navlink=REQUEST.id,navico n=navicon,REQUEST=REQUEST)"> </dtml-with> but i would like to create a new instance of ZNavigator at a different place. Structed Text weirdness

I've been teaching users to use Structured Text for their messages, but I've come across a few small annoyances: . Some items (like links) don't render if there isn't some text after them. If the very last part of an STX document is a link, it gets rendered as plain text. Added \n after will fix this. . Items that have 2 linefeeds after them are rendered as a heading, even if they are not intended to be. eg """ this is text """ comes out as a heading . you can't nest things in sensible ways: "**Visit my "site":http://www.site.org.** is in bold, but loses the link, whereas "**Visit my "site":http://www.site.org. ** isn't in bold (asterisks appear) I know STX is supposed to be a simple format, and I'm not advocated for complicating/changing the rules--but I find the behavior inconsistent w/expectations about how things should happen. Are there patches that fix these issues (I haven't seen any)? Are there workarounds? If you mean "browser local", then you want the same functionality as provided by the Zope Management Interface. I always recommend in such a case to look at the Management Interface's source code (--> list archive, where to find the source code). If you mean "server local", then you need to read the file content and use it as third parameter to "manage_addDTMLDocument". For security reasons, Zope does not support reading of local files directly. Again, the list archives will show you various ways how to achieve this. Dieter

They are only "successful" (and included in the form data set) when checked. Unchecked, they are "unsuccessful" and the request simply does not contain any trace of them. This may cause "Bad request" errors from ZSQL methods. There are several ways, how to work around this HTML bug (feature?): all have to do with providing default values. Maybe, the easiest (for a single checkbox) is to provide a default value for the corresponding Z SQL argument. You will not have a form-based login whenever you use "Basic Authentication", neither in Zope nor with PHP. The reason is that HTTP's basic authentication is a client feature. The client pops up a dialog to obtain login information that it later includes in HTTP requests. The server can not control this dialog.
