Ok. I converted all the CSS from my old site to ZStylesheets, but I'm having a couple issues which I don't know how to handle. I have the following standard_html_header: <html> <head> <title> <dtml-var title_or_id> </title> <dtml-var defaultcss> </head> <body onLoad="init()"> What I would rather have is something more flexible, but I don't know enough dtml yet to figure it out. I would rather that the header included a stylesheet based on the name of the current page (if such a stylesheet exists). I'm also wondering why viewing the source of this header shows: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://hostname:8080/defaultcss" /> What's with that last forward-slash? --- Rahsheen __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? DocBook SampleChapter -- security assertion error --

Hi all, I have installed the docbook product and all seemed to work all right. I managed to open the docbook samples freebsd_faq and http_https_ulinks, but as I tried to see the sampleChapter, the system asked for an authorization. Error type: Unauthorized Error value: Access denied for /users/in/SampleDocbookDocs/sampleChapter/e1986/CharacterData/getData because its container, /users/in/SampleDocbookDocs/sampleChapter/e1986/CharacterData, has no security assertions. has anyone an idea how to solve this problem? cheers, Isabelle

smil/dtml problem!!

hallo all, i would like to generate a smil multimedia file dynamically during invokation, my problem is that when i generate a simple smil file as a DTML Document the browser does not start the real player, i copied the same dtml/zope document to my local linux machine and from this server (same client!) it works, from another on the internet it does not??? i changed permisseon but this does not help???? its really simple but i dont know how to solve. this is the dtml document: ----------- <smil> <body> <video src="rtsp://io.khm.de/FLUSSER/8.2_a.rm"/> </body> </smil> ---------------- url: http://eta.snm-hgkz.ch:8080/eta/www/db/xxx.smi thanks for help, alex

unsliceable object

Please help! We encountered this problem before. Someone suggested to upgrade the zope version an so we did and the error got fixed. Now, after like a few weeks, it came back. Please help. It's likely that some set of instructions related to SQL access via MySQLdb is causing Python to dump core. When Python dumps core, the zdaemon process restarts Zope, which is probably what you're seeing when you say it "starts a new process". It's possible that there is a library version mismatch in the code that you're using. If you continue to have problems, you should try to compile all the requisite C software (MySQLdb and MySQL) from source. squishdot IOBtree dependency problem

I am trying to install squishdot-1-1-0 with zope-2.3.0. When I try to restart Zope after unpacking squishdot in the Products dir, I get the error File /usr/local/Zope/lib/python/Products/Squishdot/__init__.py, line 122, in ? File /usr/local/Zope/lib/python/Products/Squishdot/Squishdot.py, line 161, in ? File /usr/local/Zope/lib/python/Products/Squishdot/SquishSite.py, line 13, in ? ImportError: No module named BTrees.IOBTree SquishSite.py line 13 reads 'from BTrees.IOBTree import IOBTree'. I notice that I have IOBtree c src files and shared libraries in my zope distribution: nitace:/usr/local/Zope> find . -name "IOBTree*" ./lib/Components/BTree/IOBTree.c ./lib/python/IOBTree.so Is my build incomplete? More problems with postgresql users and zope.

I'm have some more problems with adding database users to a postgresql database. I've got a ZSQL method that looks like this: Args: merchant_name password Template: insert into pg_shadow ( usename, usesysid, usecreatedb, usetrace, usesuper, usecatupd, passwd ) select <dtml-sqlvar merchant_name type="nb">, max(usesysid) + 1, 'f', 'f','f','f', <dtml-sqlvar password type="nb"> from pg_shadow; create table dummy (id int4 primary key); grant select, insert on dummy to <dtml-var merchant_name>; (The user add operation is a direct insert into the pg_shadow table as 'create user' wraps itself in a transaction and fails to work from a ZSQL method as a results.) The problem - this works inside a transaction from the console, but fails when run through a Popy based DA with this error: Error, PoPy.ProgrammingError: ERROR: aclparse: non-existent user "foowww" Version are Popy/ZPopyDA 2.0.2, Zope 2.2.5, Postgresql 7.0.3 So what's going on here? Am I better off with a different adapter? John

No module named ST???

Hi All, I've just started getting the error "ImportError: No module named ST" when trying to use the online zope tutorial and Zwiki. It seems to have started when I upgraded from 2.3.1 to 2.3.2 but it could be something else as I've been adding/deleting a few products. Any ideas? Regards, Dan
