What i use is: 1. UpdateForm (DTML-Method) 2. List_available_items (ZSQL-Method) "select ap_id,ap_docname from AliasPages where proj_id=<dtml-sqlvar proj_id type=int>" 3. List_selected_items (ZSQL-Method) "select ap_selection from Projects where proj_id=<dtml-sqlvar proj_id type=int>" Problem: I want that the Checkboxes are "CHECKED" if "available_items" == "selected_items" I am not sure if my dtml is wrong or the sql-method: ! If you know, that your values do not contain quotes (i.e. '), then you can use "_.string.join" like this: select ... where col in ( <dtml-var "_.string.join(multiple_selection,',')"> )" I recognized that a lot of USERS have these problems with "Multiple Selections". Problem with Datetime under Zope 2.4

strange date behavior

I have a strange date behavior in Zope. I don't know why, but suddenly the date on my RedHat Linux box was set to the year 2014. I changed this back to 2001 now. When I now edit a Zope object and save it, it shows me "Saved changes. (2001-07-25 21:12)". So far ok. help needed: which folder am i in?

I can crash my Zope by changing ZODBC id.

Hi all, I'm trying to generecize (is that a word?) my weblog code, so I copied and pasted my weblog folder and got this... I renamed a ZODBC Connection object and now when I try to open a ZSQL object with a browser that relies on that connection object, zope crashes. If I open the ZSQL object over FTP with BBEdit it doesn't crash. But I can't edit which connection it uses. When I renamed the ZODBC Connection object, I can now edit a ZSQL object with the management screens without crashing zope. Product to manage office task and request

Hi everybody, I'm looking for a product which can help me to store and manage all the requests people send to others in my company. I mean that for example if somebody wants the fax to be fixed, he could send a request on the intranet through this product. The "fax fixer man" could say when he will come to fix it. Everybody could read on the intranet at wich step the resolution of a request is. I don't know if it's clear enough but, does anybody know a product to do that ? objectIds vs. objectValues vs. objectItems

Does anybody with profound knowledge of Zope in details know the difference between: - objectIds() - objectValues() - objectItems() I only know what they do. Sometimes I use objectIds() instead of the "richer" objectValues() because I think that only the Ids will be faster to find for the method. Does that make sense? Peter

Sorry, but can you expand as I am not sure as how this is done. Also how do I create the dtml method so that it lists each record on one line sequentially, so that each additional record is started on a new line?
